- Continuing Jordan Brand's Reimagined series is the upcoming release of the "Bred" Air Jordan 4. Swapping the durabuck for a plush leather instead, the shape is also tweaked to be closer to the original 1989 shape with improved comfort and fit. These release on February 17th in full family sizing, but check out my video first before you scoop up a pair for yourself!

Been collecting sneakers since the early 2000s. These are better than the OG nubucks. Had these leather black cement(yes, black cement were the OG name for these) released in 1989, it would be in everyone's top 3 greatest Air Jordans ever released. These are a rare W for Jordan Brand. Definitely SOTY contender.
I absolutely agree! This leather version is way superior to the nubuck version. This definitely should’ve been the 1989 original version.

Was looking forward to these. Unfortunately I have a very common foot size so took Ws on a couple of raffles but then managed to pick up a pair in a shop. First time in a while I’ve been able to do that on a highly anticipated pair of 4s. Very happy with the quality and craftsmanship of mine and fully agree on the leather. These are 🔥. Love your considered, non-hyperbolic review style, Sean. On the mark as ever.

As a og at 54 the first pair of Jordan 4's I had was the original 1989 bred 4's and they killed my feet. Never got anymore Jordan 4's after that until I hit on the Sneakers app shock drop for these new bred 4 reimagined. Looking forward to getting these into my collection and rotation. Great video and review as usual. 👍

First pair of 4's & copped 2 pairs with no regrets. This shoe is an absolute classic and the leather imo is much more practical!! SOTY candidate for sure. I am an AJ 3 guy though so let's wait and see for the reimagined black cement 3's!

You are My go to on any sneaker releases. I too am a true size 10 on the slightly wider side and 4s can be a real hit or miss on sizing. I will be going true to size thanks

these are firee , better then the OG
i hope this helps someone - in aj1 i wear size 11.5, in sb dunk i wear 12, in regular dunks and sb blazers i wear 11.5. I got a 12 in the bred reimagined for retail and they are very snug, the toebox is narrow and the shoe has a lot of padding and feels too short for my foot when i am sitting. i wish i got a 12.5. i would recommend buying the shoes new off goat so you get free returns if it doesnt fit

I think they look so awesome in hand but having previously bought the 2015 Black Oreo 4s, all black leather 4s tend to look like school shoes on foot. (From the UK where we all had to wear school uniform and black leather shoes)

As a wide footer I'm gonna take a chance and go TTS. Would you say it feels wider than an AJ1 high in the same size? I usually have to go up half a size for AJ1 Highs but can stay TTS for AJ1 lows. Thanks for the review Sean!
if you still need to go up half for recent non-85 AJ1 then go up half for the 4 probably

🎯 this point! The pace of his reviews is quite soothing. Definitely stands apart from the rest. The Royal reimagined just wasn’t it, Nike dropped the ball big time on them. Even at over 50% off a lot of sizes still in stock. I thought I wanted a pair but when I saw it in hand - quite underwhelming. Now the bred 4s reimagined. What’s not to like? I think it’s great, thankful it’s not nubuck or suede

@sgo8 Appreciate the size recommendation Sean, but I’ll be honest I’m a little wary on TTS. My lightnings are tight and ever since then I have always gone half size up. I have wide feet and the TTS tends to hurt my arches as well. TBF I believe you but I’m still wary haha. I pretty much follow your size recommendations to a Tee, but I’m half size up on Air maxes, Kobe 8s, Gel kayano 14s, qnd Yeezy 350s. So I’m thinking I might just stay half size up 🤷🏻♂️
