It's a special feeling, recording on the instruments which were demolished by floods. Actually, my whole studio was pretty much destroyed. Then we renovated a lot of instruments - guitars, keyboards, violins, drums, Indian, Chinese instruments, exotic ones, sound cards, preams, amps, computer, you can see most of it in this video. These are survivors with scars, glitches, but in some way they feel even more powerful & expressive now. The grand piano is still as it was, somehow I like it, even though it doesn't really play. It's a friend.
