@@oOIIIMIIIOo I wouldn't say they're so much immature as they just haven't learned coping skills or positive communication. I grew up in a verbally abusive home and I regularly have to put myself in check and how I speak to people. I can be unintentionally rude and I have poor communication skills because I've always felt like my feelings are irrelevant. I'm trying harder and getting better everyday, some people just need a bit of extra help from an outside perspective, because as people we don't always see our own flaws.

it's what I admire about Jo.. kids i can deal with - i love her attitude towards them, and many of her tactics are things i use when teaching all the time.. but adults... i can't. can't deal with them. i have no patients for adults.. Jo's amazing, dealing with adults and their problems and being patient enough to wait for them to finally get it ...

So true; same with my parents both; is depression from her & immaturity from the other. Your job as a parent is to have a happy spouse first unless they refuse help or abusive, as those blissfully ignorant still will ask for help.

Abigail Metcalfe I totally agree with you. This is such a sad reality that often goes along with social media...at a certain point, you have to keep up with it even when you don’t want to or it’s not good for your family (Christina literally was like “sorry for posting these ads but I have to”) and having everything in the public eye just makes it all worse. There’s a difference between social media for fun or connection, vs. depending on it for income, attention, and love you’re not getting at home.
the reason why these ladies are having marriage problems is because christina is a controlling person, not because the kids need a dad. i’m sure they’re doing just fine with two moms

I remember one video where she was conplaining about how much money Katie spent on some plants, and Katie said, probably exhausted, that she makes more money so she would spent as she wants. I always knew it wouldnt go far.

@Kaththee1 Actually studies show that kids function best when they have two parents, no matter if they are a man and a woman, two women, or two men. When kids grow up in a home where they used to have a father but now don't, that's when trauma forms because the kids will likely have problems with abandonment.

Cr E they said in the episode it’s bc when Charlotte was born she needed the “birth mom” more so during that time the other mom started taking care of Kennedy more and there wasn’t much bonding time with the that mom when Charlotte was a baby.
To be fair I don’t think it was her that said no I think Katie was saying “do you want a paint brush? No..” and that’s when the other one side stepped Charlotte. Doesn’t make it any better though.

I haven't seen the whole episode, just this clip, but anyone else gonna mention that Christina totally sounds like a psychopath or sociopath? (Lots of people are.) Maybe she can't describe her emotions because she literally doesn't have any. That's why she's controlling, distant and aloof, with relationship issues.

You can feel the distance. I really felt more like they were sisters that didst get along & haven't seen eachother in years & this is their girls meeting eachother for the first time.
Attachment issues/or having a hard time getting connected to one child, but with the other child it was instantaneous. Imagine how emotionally taxing that would be.

Tough to watch this episode. They seem so uncomfortable.
I don't think Christina intentionally put a single doll in the shed with an agenda where she was plotting to get the children fighting over the doll.
Katie presents as so kind, sweet and genuine with that beautiful smile that Christina likely has grown accustomed to not receiving the reception Katie gets from people which unfortunately can include their children. The detached and aloof manner Jo refers to with Christina is what the less outgoing spouse customarily adopts to prevent feeling less important or liked than the charming charismatic spouse in day to day encounters, be it socializing, doing business or spending time with their children. It must hurt and who wants to have that hurt exposed continually so she steps back, watches and lets Katie be more communicative and expressive due to the reaction she receives. Just a thought.
I'm more quiet and keep my emotions in check, not sharing my feelings partly due to my upbringing but more so due to my husband being more talkative and outgoing. I was same way with my sister growing up. We all have our ways.

Before they asked for help and were ready to work with her and now this set is like, we got this i just need a few tips, not realizing the magnitude of the situation that they are in. Like not just for this episode but others as well.

It's sad but as the adult, you need to rise above it. Also the kid wants to be with the other mother because she's calm and comforting.

Funny to see them pop up on my feed, I followed them for a few years on Instagram but unfollowed as they were a bit too spammy, seemed like they did a family photo shoot every day. I guess I’m not too surprised that the smiles weren’t always genuine. Hopefully this experience helped with their issues.

@@whocares8666 I have no idea where Katie is Christina only refers to her as her ex don’t know if it’s something that they discuss not to mention her due to the fact she is not online they do share custody of the girls that Christina makes clear because they split their time with them Christina gave birth to a girl and a boy and her oldest kids seem to love them to bits Christina is also in a serious relationship with a woman named Heather who is basically the twins other mom she and Christina started dating before Christina got pregnant Christina had told Heather she was going to try to have more kids herself carrying so Heather knew the whole time and stayed Heather gets on with the girls great as well no idea what Katie feels about Heather Christina has said nothing about it
They just don’t seem like a very good match. At least not in this moment. Neither seem willing to be vulnerable with the other, or willing to make concessions. There doesn’t seem to be any “I am willing to change and better myself so I don’t continue to hurt you” I hope they work through this

Christina wanted kids the most and right away, loves kids, is a first grade teacher. I'm a big Supernanny fan which is how I found this video. The problem is, this relationship was irretrievably over by the time Supernanny did the taping. Christina and Katie have a You Tube channel going back several years, Christina adores both kids, which you might not guess from this video. It was just too late by the time Jo got there and very awkward.
I think Christina had children because it sounded like a great idea and didn't realize how difficult it would actually be. Unfortunate Katie carried the weight of all of this and even carried Christina's emotional baggage as well (even literally carried Christina in every photoshoot as show on their Instagram lol)
I can’t find the full episode not even to buy but I legit thought they were sisters or something! I did not see or feel a relationship there I had to look at the comments to find out. Doesn’t help they look so similar

She should talk to my sister about controlling what my niece wants to do when she gets older. My sister is way too attached to her kids and won't even let her oldest Becca be roommates with my other niece who she is best friends with if she wants to when they are older. My sister is crazy.

You can just tell they are miserable together. Apparently they are now divorced or are getting a divorce. They apparently were able to hide the truth of how badly things were going from bleeding onto their CZcams channel. Creating a fake “perfect” life for the internet is incredibly unhealthy. Not only for their relationship but for their children as well. Highlights how we really don’t know youtubers at all. Most of them are just pretending to be happy for views.

Whenever I see constant couples on social media that only have pictures of themselves, only post about each other, etc. I know they're probably not doing well and end up in divorce eventually.
I followed them for ages, I thought they had a gorgeous relationship and then saw the divorce post and was baffled. I came to watch this clip and now…I’m not remotely surprised. Based on comments, it seems they were very unhappy and Katie cheated.
I don't think Katie cheated, I think Christina made it sounds that way. Christina's personal Instagram showed her on dates with different women at the beginning of the divorce. I think she controlled the narrative and projected her own actions to make Katie look like a bad person.
