I saw Air Supply at the Gulf Coast Coliseum in 1983 with Guy Applewhite. I'm glad he asked me to go with him and it was a great concert. He was a lifelong friend, a confidant, and a man who would truly fight for my honor. I post here in loving memory of you, Guy.
Air Supply has got to be the best duo in love song writing ever hands down. I was only 10 years old at this concert in Hawaii. Russell's singing solo has got to be the hardest to perform live that will literally tire your vocal chords very quickly. They were still young here. Fast forward to 2020 now, I don't think Russell can reach its peak singing all their songs just like this concert. But I put AIR SUPPLY on my top 10 artist of all time in creating great songs along with BEE GEES, EAGLES, BREAD, EARTH, WIND, AND FIRE and so much more.
Russell is the cutest thing I’ve ever seen! After all these years he still is! I love his personality.
As big as the 80’s sound got, Air Supply captured the sound track of the American Teenager’s heart. It still brings back a flood of memories, first love, great moments in relationships, and love lost. Heartaches and dreams, coming of age, summer romance, and even feelings of loneliness. Thanks for the music after all these years.
Edit: no canned dancing, no forced lyrics, no auto tune and label pushing an agenda. Just two guys backed by a small band, letting the music move at its own pace, allowing people the courtesy of taking the journey of their own choice through a maze of emotion. Absolutely wonderful.

They know how to have fun on stage..they both have a good sense of humor, and such a great friendship. Their talent is unmatched.

To see this band in 1983 when they were in fine form, in a place as beautiful as Hawaii must have been magical. Sounds great!
I saw them on this tour as well, but in Upstate NY - I was 15 at the time. Definitely not the type of music I was into - but my parents had an extra ticket, so I went. Have to say that I was very impressed with their musicianship, and especially Russell Hitchcock's vocals. They were a really good band to go see live.

I received a videotape of this concert for a Christmas present in 1985 and watched it many, many times. I've seen Air Supply in concert more than thirty times in the Cleveland, Ohio and Detroit, Michigan areas from 1985 to 2008.
44 years together and they still performing across the country. Finest duo band alive. Graham & Russell Hitchcock still sound the same.

My very 1st cassette tape that l bought in my highschool days of 1979 was Air Supply. Decades later l had the chance to watch them live in concert here in Winnipeg, Canada in 2011. The unique voice is still there but had aged. Still, the duo strikes magic through their timeless, classic music.
