A good tip with the rudder that a learned from the relay world is to lift the noise wheel slightly on the take off roll with the necessary aileron wind correction, now with that tip my takeoff are very realistic.
Brilliant stream/video from you as usual! A year or so ago I watched an in depth CZcams review of the Just Flight Arrow series that explained that the real turbo version was designed to save cost and weight. As such it was not fitted with a wastegate. This put an additional load on the pilot, particularly on take-off, to ensure that the manifold pressure did no exceed 41in Hg as I recall. Cheers.
Great video. The rudder is still very twitchy with pedals, I have had to dampen down the sensitivity a great deal and it is still not right. That said the a/c is lovely to fly.
Great video again Jonathan, I enjoy your relaxed attitude, and just having some fun, which is what it’s all about, are you using a 4k monitor out of interest? Cos I noticed your comment about the lack of hi fidelity in the cockpit. I changed from a 1080p to a 4k after investing in a 4090 and the clarity of the instruments was much improved. Cheers now
@@jonbeckett It is a U-shaped valley. Dug by a glacier. What lies on the side of the valley are stones and boulders that have slid down from the slopes. The debris lies in layers and forms the "U". It can often be seen in the Alps, especially high up in the permafrost. The permafrost holds the stones together at the top, and in summer when the surface thaws, individual stones fall down. The Albula valley has been without a glacier for several thousand years. The material for the "U" has had 8000 years to come down. By the way: At the top of the pass there is a nice restaurant where you can take a nice walk. Without high alpine equipment
Anyone know how to put the plane on straight and level flight without the auto pilot, seem to have to fight with the trim but it's always pitching up or down never stays centre.????
Absolutely amazing Jon; speechless. Just amazing!

Good flight through the mountains. I enjoyed riding with you.
This was a good flight Thank You

That's interesting!
great flight plan! I duplicated it except in the Wilga, much enjoyed :-)

I just tried the new P28 update. Amazing job from just flight.
Great video
An example how to do everything wrong if it would be in real world. 😂 Greetings from Switzerland.
Yeah Mr. Beckett is not a pilot I don’t think. With that fixed wastegate I think he would have left the engine on the runway.

I purposely use a 1080p monitor - I do have a 4K monitor too. The reason? Recording without re-scaling on the fly saves a lot of CPU/GPU horsepower.
@@jonbeckett absolutely agree with that! Cheers buddy
40:10 It's the Albula Pass, and is't made by a Glacier. With kind regards from Switzerland, Jean.
I wonder what causes the bowl shape then ?

this thing is really starting to look dated. would be nice if just flight updated the textures and maybe add a feature or 2.
