yes, but today i also dont have the tuner conected ,but when younger was maybe the most important component after the reel or cassete deck, lot´s of radio shows with high quality music and high quality sound ,that don´t happen today maybe in local radio stations
What speaker monitors are you using? We have the Pioneer M90a and C90a pre. With ATC studio monitors. ATC really needs a powerful amp to push it and the M90a does not disappoint! I’ve used them in a recording studio too
@@Deeky76 yes ,that´s why i had a complete sony ES system(Esprit series) as most of the people think it is what comes in a early 90´s catalog on the cover "Elevated Standart" or in a very bad av receiver . The ES system that cost me a fortune ,the cd player at the end of 3 years started to fail as the cassette deck ,the pioneer system i bought in 76 i´m still waiting for it to fail for the first time, that´s when i sold everything fast and bought in early 90´s everything urushi series from pioneer and again not one component went bad and sony either than having worse sound don´t have half the quality ,Sony only had a big promotion machine but far from achieving pioneer quality not one component comes near pioneer, maybe the integrated amplifier TA-F690ES only sold in Portugal and U.K with the quality of a A-717mkII from pioneer ,that is maybe the only ES componet that was built with quality but why only in U.K and Portugal in all other countries are very bad, i say this because at the time i thought i needed a new system but after spending lot´s of money it was crap, but sold it very fast ,it´s a sony ,not even in the 70´s they had quality when all brands released components with higher quality, maybe you bought a pair of good speakers and think the sound is because of the sony components, but not even close ,try to put any power amplifier from any year against a pioneer one this using a pre-a mplifier from the brand and not comparable some might like better the design but as electronic equipment comes very low compared with Pioneer, even in the 90´s to show the MD decks they decrease the quality of cassete decks but that only showed how low Sony acts, nothing against you but you´re wrong try to compare it and then say what you think, regards

Pioneer equipment is good definitely, but don't go comparing it to Sony ES equipment.... The Sony's far better
