When using the speaker option during texting, you can also complete your thought and say "period" or "coma" or "question mark" and those symbols will appear in the text.
i turned off a feature on the iphone5c it was text msg. feature when you typed a word like green. a lot of choice would come up for that letter. it made it a lot easier to text. for example. when you would put in the word I'm you had a choice of words like going doing had just by putting in that one word.

Your phone may not be updated. I know this is a little late, but maybe you're still having the problem. Just make sure you have the most recent update possible.

It's there for awhile then all of a sudden, it's gone. I don't know how to get it back. Can you help? I have went to all my settings and no luck. Thanks, Kristy
I used to have suggestions for spelling when I typed, I liked that feature, but now it seems to have gone away. How do I get it back. Its not the regular autocorrect, but word suggestions, I would tap on that to be able to type faster without continuing my word. I hope this makes sense

Hello thanks for all the help but the thing were having trouble with is while you are texting if I put up TH the iphone has a line of words that it puts up so I don't have to text the whole thing I just look for the word I was going to use and it puts in the whole word. but every now and then it just quits putting up that line of words and i have to reset my phone to get it working again. if you could help with that I would sure appreciate it.

you can turn the phone on and then tap and slide the camera up, which brings you right to camera or you can open the camera app

With dictation, you can say the punctuation you want to add it in the message. Example: Saying "How are you question mark" will output " How are you?"
