If you freed Us in Act 1, then you’ll find inside the Mind Flayer colony’s Morgue, within a cage along the wall, your old companion, Us, who can become your permanent companion if you free him. You’ll encounter a humanoid named Chop that you’ll either need to convince him to release Us, or slay him for the key to the cage. Once you free Us, You’ll receive an item called Summon Us, which is described as a sticky, graying mass exuding a slightly sweet putrid odor. You can summon Us once every short rest, and Us has 65 hp at level 4 and can claw your enemies. But what’s probably one of the coolest things about Us is that it will magically change its form to a Cat when entering town to avoid causing a panic. What a good brain kitty.

Shadow Wraith Pet
Coming in at Number 2 is the Shadow Wraith Pet. In Act 2 within Balthazar’s hidden room, there lies a necromantic sigil inscribed on his work bench. If you interact with this sigil as Gale, you can use the materials remaining on the bench to create a Shadow Lantern. One dead pixie and a broken moon lantern later and Gale has a new lantern which can be used to Conjure a formidable Shadow Lantern Wraith. This Wrath has 24 health and can use Strength Drain, causing 3d8 Necrotic damage and possibly leach its target’s Strength by 3. It can also use Necrotic Claws which deal 7-17 damage. This level 6 Necromancy spell requires a medium or small corpse and can be used once per long rest. Not bad at all.
Mystra’s Benevolence
Number 3 is Mystra’s Benevolence, the alternative choice - instead of having Gale craft the Shadow Lantern to summon a Wraith pet, you can instead choose to destroy the necromantic glyph. If destroyed, Gale will gain Mystra’s Benevolence, a Permanent Buff granting Advantage on Concentration checks. This can be incredibly powerful, since spells requiring concentration can shift the balance in a fight and make all the difference for your party by maintaining them.
The Absolute
And Number 4 is The Absolute. You can actually find the Absolute within Moonrise Towers by following the hints left within its halls. There is an ogre named Mig who claims to hear “meat sounds” coming from the walls and above the barracks. While the guards disregard her, if you do not, you can find something amazing. By returning to the main entry hall and climbing the ladder immediately on the left near the goblins, you will eventually find a crack in the wall. If you dare to put your arm inside, you get to have a chat with what appears to be The Absolute, and learn some very interesting things.
The Blood of Lathander
Number 5 is the legendary mace known as The Blood of Lathander. This incredible mace will literally save your life when you reach 0 hit points, healing you for 2d12, and healing your party for 1d6 upon your would-be death. It also allows you to cast the incredibly powerful Sunbeam evocation, which deals a massive 6d8 Radiant damage, searing and blinding all creatures in its path for 10 turns. And, believe it or not you can recast sunbeam to move it without expending a spell slot. This movement of the sunbeam doesn’t break sanctuary either, so it’s incredibly powerful on a Cleric. If that wasn’t enough, it also sheds Lathander’s Light, blinding Fiends and Undead within 6 meters.
To acquire this legendary mace, you must travel to the Rosymorn Monastery and complete a number of puzzles involving gathering and placing weapons on altars, and later delving into the depths of the Githyanki Creche to find where the mace is protected by even more traps. You almost feel like Indiana Jones down there, but this is definitely not going in a museum. Unless you call your backpack your museum. If you succeed in overcoming these trials, this powerful legendary Mace can be yours.

Common misconception, the Temple of Lathander/Githyanki Creche is still part of Act I. Act II does not begin until you go to the Shadowcursed Lands.
But since nearly everyone goes through the underdark to get to act 2, it is usually in act 2 that you go to the creche.
Actually if you go to the Gith creche before having made a choice in the goblin/tiefling/druid questline, when you come back to the grove the tieflings are gone and die during an ambush, closing the Karlach questline for good same goes for a bunch of content, it's actually not a bad option if you want minthara as a compagnion without having to dirty your hand with the tieflings (and losing Karlach in the process), so yeah it's not technically act 2 but more like act 1.5
@xaviervanberkel4578 I mean its a lot like the choice you make in the shadow fell I'm that regard. It permanently changes act 1 just like thay decision permanently changes act two. That doesn't make it not act 1 just makes it a big act impacting decision the game even warns you in a similar way.
Are the different acts something that is based off the story, or the gameplay? when you go through the mountain pass there's a big warning saying all the act 1 quests will be locked off. seems like it's not really act 1 gameplay wise, but trying to get the parasite out with the creche is linked to the act 1 questlines.
@waterierStone tough to say but the way I personally look at it is even though the mountain pass blocks off some quests it doesn't actually block them all, just the tiefling stuff. You can go there, and then go complete find halsin and stuff he's just dead. This is similar to what happens when you save or destroy the *spoiler* in act two. Once you've made either decision certain quest options are gone, but the act itself isn't finished and you're not really in a new zone. Mountain pass still feels very much like an act one area.
You could also realistically call it an intermission zone if you wanna avoid classifying it all together.
Don't forget on the docks behind moonrise, there is a barrel that offers 4 tadpoles to the player if they go through some dice checks.
i only found 2
@@Taha-hy4qz you broke the barrel didn't you ?
@@xaviervanberkel4578 no i just stole it maybe its because im on tactician

@@xaviervanberkel4578 I broke it in order to thwart their war efforts and then some tadpoles popped out. I didn't complain
How is it, that despite Gale saying her name so many times, there are still people who will pronounce Mystra as "Mice-tra"...?
Same for Lae'zel
In some cases stupidity but in most cases to make people comment
More comments - - > more engagement - - > CZcams recommends that video more
Cuz they have no idea about the world of the game they are playing...
Im from a country that doesn't have DnD even now!
but before playing Baldurs Gate 3
I was researching for about 2-3 weeks..
and the lore was fun really
and its not just BG3
for me every game i play is a process of learning
no need to imagine like a book
nor to see like a movie..
you can be there and do things!
so its the most complete type of
learning if you think of it..
and if you don't know where you are
you don't know what to do..
then its useless..
at least for me its like this!
Could be engagement bait. If more people comment to say that's not the right pronunciation, the video does better. More common shopping and tech vids than gaming but it could still be the case here.
I'm still wondering how ppl mispronounced astarion.
Extra bonus for Blood of Lethander, when equipped when fighting Cazador is act3, walking near him while he’s in his misty form triggers Light Sensitivity and knocks him out of the form making it a must equip for any melee character
The Daylight Spell also works wonders while dealing with any of Astarion's former.... colleagues
@@heylolp9I've found casting Daylight on the arena itself will cause Astarion's questline to glitch out if your going for the "good ending" to his quest
Daylight will do the same trick, plus daylight in act 2 will also remove the Living Shadow buff from the warrior in Sharran Sanctum
Fun fact: with the Potion of Everlasting Vigour you can increase your Strength score above 20. If you already have 20 and consume it will increase it to 22.
Very useful for my paladin/cleric. Until I get the gauntlets. Too many needed stats on this build, haha. Gloves/amulet will fix that though!
@@charlesbryson7443 Even better and easier to get before the gauntlets is the mirror of loss which can boost any stat +2 to a max of 24. So you can basically start act 3 with 24 strength and no equipment required to make it happen
@@Noosh_ Small note, you can't use the Mirror of Loss until Act 3. The one in Act 2 is broken.
@@altmaster3288can you still use it if you save both shadowheart and her parents? I passed checks but it did nothing
My 22 Str Paladin with the Blood of Lathander trivialized almost all of act 2.
Blood of lathander is so useful in act 2 with how many undead you'll be up against, blinding them all when you get close enough.
True, also trivializes the cazador fight
Man I love your videos because you jump straight to the subject. No intros, no bullshit, no bla blá blá! Keep this!!!
Agreed.
8:13 WARNING! if you do this, after a couple of long rests if you are dating asterion he will try to break up with you. at that time there are dialogue options that you can pick that will actually strengthen you relationship and make him not break up but still worth mentioning

If you are going to consider the blood of Lythander To be act 2, it is criminal not to mention the awakened buff. This let you use tadpole powers With a bonus action, and it is difficult to get from the Device in the creche.
Awakened was Talked about in the Act 1 Video
good buff until you realize you are a monk
I accidentally came well prepared for this one on my current run. My character is a deep gnome, so advantage on int/wis/cha rolls, but I also just got the buff from the myconids, which adds 1d6 to your rolls but only until your next long rest. That made if very easy.
Might just be me, but the blood of lathander only does a sunbeam once per long rest. It's been like that since I've gotten it
That's intentional, since it's a 6th level spell you can acquire in act 1
I think he was mixing up sunbeam and moonbeam. There is another weapon that let's you cast moonbeam in act 2
I think what he meant to say was Sunbeam can be re-cast for 10 turns as long as you maintain concentration. It’s an evocation spell so if you give the mace to an evocation wizard it will get Sculpt spell automatically plus the modifier damage bonus you get at higher levels.
Yeah the Selune Spear or whatever is very similar to the Mace as far as being a glowing weapon with the ability to cast a radiant damage spell. I typically find the mace to be better but I suppose with sentinel an argument for the spear could be made
@@Blackheifer is should be, but it isn't. Sunbeam cast by the blood of lathander is unable to be moved or recast till long rest. At least it's that way on PlayStation.
you can grease the statues to open the blood of lathander obstacle course to bypass the athletics check needed to turn the statues
You can also smack it once with a melee attack to loosen the rust. I love this game
I was wondering if you could do this, I didn't have any grease bottles when I got to that point, so I just hit it really hard!
There's even a letter you can find at the monastery that talks about how someone greased the statue and now it was turning every which way.
A lil force damage works just a single magic missile dart
I posted this comment on the first upload, but if you added the Blood of Lethandar, I'd also talk about the zaith'isk (or githyanki purification device), if you manage to succeed the roll to absorb its powers, you gain a permanent perk by which you can use ilithid powers as bonus action instead of an action, really, REALLY REALLY neat, esp once you reach act 3 and unlock the more powerful powers
Wow! That DC was wild. Thanks for the info!
Fantastic to pair Transfuse Health with Channel Divinity Preserve Life and fully heal urself immediately after halving your health to heal someone. Basically a free Heal spell
WHAT
I did it once but I didnt see it in my passive list so i thought it was useless to absorb it :/
Wat, how the hell did I miss like half the fucking game
Regarding Quothe the Raven:
It appears to be a generic name for raven familiars, not neccesarily that raven. Using Find Familiar to summon a raven also gives Quothe.
I had to carry around that dang lantern all over Act 2. Giving it to Astarion at least allowed me to still use his off-hand bonus attack. Also even though it visually is shown as put away, its AOE is still occurring so long as it is equipped in his off-hand. The bell is a serious quality of life improvement for Act 2.
I let shadowheart lead with blood of lathander on her back and her passive flame in the hand. No need for a lantern. Got the perma buff by chance later. 😂
There is a secret beneath the statue where you fight Oliver. If you pass the checks, you will get a +5 to Wisdom, Charisma, and/or intelligence until your next long rest. And you can give it all to the same character.
just to make sure people understand, its the big statue and the shadow fight....
@@DarkRaikon Saying 'the shadow fight' does not narrow it down. It's the place Oliver teleports during the Thaniel quest to fight you. Then around the structure nearby there will be plaques. Interact with all the plaques and a secret door will open. Go inside and see a few statues of Shar. Interact with their plaques, make saving throws, get +5 to Wis, Cha, and Int until your next long rest.
if you let shadowheart touch the statues, she just gets them with out needing to pass any checks.
“Lose some approval”?
HE BROKE MY HEART
There's also two more mindflayer tadpoles in moonrise if you go to their docks and pass a check. They are in a barrel.
Interesting fact as the dark urge the gnalls instantly became allies with out the need for a skill check after severing the connection.
7:30 in this pub, you can also find the rat-bat. It's ..not an amazing weapon, just an easter egg for It's always Sunny in Philadelphia
WAIT REALLY??? that's probably the best easter egg I have ever seen, I need to find it lol
I've never seen the show but remember picking that up - it's blue rarity!
Larian are the easter egg kings!
There’s 2 more parasite in the cargo tank at the left out side the tower. (You have to pick up the silver supply looking tank or bottle)
there is also one on a corpse in the cave behind/under the prison, you can get there by jumping in the hole of breaking a wall in one of the cells
Us actually saved me when the genie sent me to the jungle. The raptors have such low int, he can stun lock them one at a time.
Wait, what jungle? The Genie in the Sundries Wizard tower?! I never got sent to any jungle!
@@christopherking6496in act 3, the circus Djinn send you to a jungle
The Blood of Lothander found in Rosymourn is actually still considered act 1. As for the Pixie I thought it was very well voice acted. Also in the mind flayer colony there is an item that if you pick it up it gives your full party a condition where you are susceptible to psychotic damage taking double damage from such attacks but dropping it and moving away gets rid of it.
So cool. So many things I didn’t know about. Great list. Will be rewatching.
If you are dating Astarion and making him bite the drow, the next long rest will be a cutscene with Astarion and depends on your options, he may break up with you but it will trigger a bug as he will sometime call you "Hello, friend" and also "Hello, my dear".
I genuinely couldn't get Astarion to stay romanced after I made him bite the drow. I had to shitcan a few hours of play to reload a save before and let him decide not to bite her.
Though romance or not, I decided then I wouldn't ever make him do it. I felt soooo shitty when he explained how betrayed he felt by it.
@@TheLanceUppercut Right??! When he said that he felt like we used his body like Cazador did, my heart just dropped.
Just ungroup leave ur party outside of castle and solo control astarion and make him donate blood by himself, should work
@@DoffyDogg wow that work? Thanks I'll try later.
@jonathanformlyrics5355 That was the moment that made me stop treating the companions like they weren't actual people and letting them make their own decisions. Usually in RPGs I just exploit companions for my benefit, but Baldur's Gate 3 hits different like that
The fact there’s so many different outcomes to situations, makes this so replayable and immersive. I absolutely love this one. 💞✌😊👍
If it weren't for all dice rolling that decides what happens and the slow progression. Maybe with mods 👍.
Missed the Githzerai mind barrier, the raven pet, and the signed trade visa. It's more fun to just make the gold-crazed undead lady kill herself and her minions by outsmarting them.
there is even more tadpole you can get at the moon rise tower. but SPOLER ALERT!
1) If you go all the way to the back of Moonrise tower, there is a dock with a few guards, and there is a shipment to Baldur's gate, which you can persuade the guard to let you take a look and steal it. In the shipments, there is a bucket with tadpoles. Upon picking up/stealing the shipment, you can get 2 tadpoles.
2) if you get pulled into the colony by the Absolute (when you stick your hand into the crack on the wall, and fail all the checks), there is a corpse with tadpole you can loot by looking around.
The meat in the wall actually offers extra dialog for the Dark Urge, too.
And for the monk
Great Old One Warlocks also get some special options
Oh snap, I needed this video yesterday haha. Entered Act 3 a day ago

I have a feeling new secrets will be discovered months down the road after release. Would be a fun way of player engagement if Larian lets us know there are still undisocvered scenes or results. Could be monthly, every 6 months, yearly newslettet?? How deep is the rabbit hole?
"Us" sounds amazing. In my first two runs I killed it, but maybe I will see it again in my third -- thank you!
Fun fact. If you use lantern as offhand weapon (dual weapon masterry allows it) pixie will never die. I had it that way all act 2 and then i released it. At least in my playthrough it happened.
You can find the Lathander Mace without having to find the weapons for the puzzle if you have someone with high perception, they will spot that a wall in the room is hiding something and if you beat a 20 on Lockpicking you can get the piece behind it thats needed to unlock the mace at the end, if you feel like skipping looking for random weapons in a temple ofc
when you go from moon-rise towers to the catacombs and pass across a plaza where is combat with shades and posesed people you can check the 3 plates in certain order and get into a secret cave there you have 3 checks on statues and get powerfull buffs for free if succed! (on first time i just accidentally get into the staircase when wasn't even open because is just a mirage jajaja)
Short note about the Pixie blessing:
Better put the bell into your items tab -- you might need it rather often. When you change zones (like going to the creche and after that again to the cursed lands) the blessing will be gone. Don't forget to ring that bell every time you re-enter the shadow cursed lands!
FYI, on the Lathander mace, you can skip weapon puzzle if you have high enough perception and slight of hand skill
Yes, the sleight of hand DC is 30, which is possible for Astarion with the help of Guidance and items like those gloves that give you a bonus to SoH.
I just ripped it out with no skill check or puzzling done, and destroyed the pillars to deactivate the self destruct
I just let the temple self destruct for funsies
You can get the filigreed ball from the moon lantern you receive in Last Light Inn as well. In my playthrough the Harpers ran off with the Drider's lantern so I didn't have a chance to grab it. It is possible, though, that this is the one I was given at the Inn.
That is the same lantern as the one from the Drider, if you listen to the dialogue she'll say she was stuck or something in the hands of some evil drider.
Where did you find it in last light in? Some instances, the leader of thr ambuse team gets the lantern
iirc, it was given to me by Isobel @@synergistex7088
Shadow wraiths are very OP. You can take out bosses very quickly with their strength drain if you summon multiple of them.
I’m like taking my sweet time in act three because I don’t want it to end but I’m already excited for my second play through where I have all the knowledge I need from the very beginning and seeing how things are different
I almost finished on my first run except a few quests here and there and started a new playthtoguh. 40hrs later I don’t want to go back to my original save lol. Even tho I know. It’s a different expedience somehow o.O. I also missed a lot even tho I thought I hit even corner first time. I still missed a lot this second time around >.
The large container of mind flayer parasites at the Moonrise docks on the right hand side of the tower :) Break it open and you get another 2-3 parasites :)
Hey. Here is a tip if you want the mystra bonus and the shadow lantern.
A transmutation wizard hireling. Can give a party member a transmutation stone that does the exact same buff until long rest. Just means you have to spend 30 seconds switchinh them into a party, casting the stone and maybe Longstrider too and then switchinh them back out.
IMO everyone should use a wizard transmutation hireling anyway since they are better at making potions for you at camp.
The Oubliette has a parasite on a corpse as well. I missed that area 3 times on my other play through. Really hard to miss tbh
You can also get the visa by tricking the npc into believing they are getting the money for themselves, they will then kill themselves and all the flying skulls with them, giving you the xp and all the glorious loot
No mention of the pixie curse, new clown in town if you free her by smashing the lantern?
Flesh to Gold wofks almost 100% of the time with portent dice, and the sharpened snare cuirass giving disadvantage on saving throws to spells which restrain a foe. Flesh to Stone/Gold are restraining spells.
Isn't the Blood of Lathander still in ACT 1 though?
Yep.
Up to a certain point you can travel back to Act 1 areas, so it’s likely the uploader went back and did that part during ‘Act 2’
As a new wizard that mind barrier seems pretty sweet. I'll have to remember to try for it when I get there
I got the Githzerai mind barrier as a Githyanki. The interaction is funny, with the Githzerai telling the Githyanki is ugly and other things, a rivalry between "cousins". The Githzerai then asks to be put out of misery, while teaching the Mind Barrier.
11th: docks West of Moonrise. You can get 4 more tadpoles if you pass a few checks. They're in a container meant to be shipped away.
Neat the only one I got myself was the +2 potion of STR. Thx
You forgot to mention the 2 other parasites you can get at the dock outside of moonrise towers. There is a barrel you can pick up to use in the fight later, but it gives you 2 parasites.
on the right of the tower is bay with ship and there is cointainer with ellithid worms, by picking this up u will get 3 extra worms to use
There is a Zentharim barel with parasites in the port/storage area of moonrise, you can get two more parasites from it.
Very cool video
4:51 and you’ll be able to do a quest called stop the presses in act three without having to persuade the party in question because it will be thankful that you saved is a pixie
For the blood mace I didn’t do any of that. Astraion got tapped grabbing it and my other characters used Edlritch blast and fire bolt on the platforms projecting energy and everything was perfectly fine after they were all destroyed.
Wanted to let you know that you confused the spells Sunbeam with Moonbeam from the Blood of Lathander section.
Moonbeam is the spell you were talking about, the one that can be re-positioned, Sunbeam however is a higher tier spell that is a blast of light in a horizontal line AOE, and is the spell granted by the Blood of Lathander.
i think he just confused lathander's sunbeam with normal lvl 6 sunbeam, which you can recast for 10 turns
was looking for this REAL GAMER COMMENT
@@ikwaru lathander's sunbeam is the same as normal sun beam, inspecting the texts lets you know that it's a concetration spell that lasts 10 turns that can be recast for free. But in practice, you're not able to do so. I'm not sure if it was an intentional balance choice, since full on sunbeam would pretty much allow you to trivialize any combat once per long rest, or if it's just a bug.
nah, he didn't confuse. he just read it from the script. this guy probably never play the game seeing how he mispronounced Mystra, the name that Gale said very often
6:34 you can also eldritch blast / thunderbolt strike her from a distance in order to make her fall over.
My Dark Urge playthrough I didn't solve the puzzle for the Blood of Lathander and just took it. Cool cutscene and multiple deaths. Plus it saved time
There's actually two MORE tadpoles that you don't even have to kill for. If you go out the prison doors to the docks where the ship sails from, there's a Zhentarim shipping container you can interact with. If you pick it up (sneakily), you get two free tadpoles from the thousands bound for Baldur's Gate. I took them and yeeted the barrel into the water after just because I could.
You don't even need to do the monastery puzzle to get the mace, you can just take it if you're quick enough to deal with the repercussions. :)
When you've played so much of the game you figured out all the hidden rewards but still haven't learned how to pronounce Mystra 😂
7:09 or you can just get access to find familiar and use it to summon a raven, which is also named Quothe, opening up your glove slot for something more useful
Pretty sure "Quothe" is the name of any Find Familiar raven. (When I tried that spell on my Wizard once, the raven was named Quothe.)
Theres a barrel full of tadpoles outside moonrise tower. to get there, go the moonrise prison and use the door on the right. explore the area, explode the barrel.
Mystras benevolence must be bugged because it goes away on my Gale. Which makes me think that the shadow lantern is more worth it in the long run since that can't magically dissappear
Not a bug, the buff will clearly state like many other permanent buffs that it is “Permanent”. I don’t know why they said this.
Me pre-watching this before getting to act 2 so I don't have to backtrack and bounce around because I'm bound to miss these.
Lathandir's light is act 1. Act 2 starts in the Shadow Forest I believe. Double checked. Shadow Forest is the beginning of Act 2
crèche is part of act 2 since you must finish main quest in act 1 in order to move on to the crèche
I believe Creche is act 2, cause if you go to creche before fighting the goblin. The druid grove will seal it self and lock its subsequent quest
Crèche is not act 2. Act 2 begins when you climb the ladder from grimforge or take mountain pass.
Honestly, the pass/grimforge feels like Act 1.5
You get the notification to wrap up what you are doing as you try to enter the pass. Also karlach will yell at you and leave if you keep going into the pass if you have not done her quest yet. The notification and conversation with karlach did not happen going into the underdark. But it will when leaving the underdark to the shadowlands
To me that makes the pass act 2.
wow i literally did none of these my playthrough. started 2nd one lets go!
1:26 something i found out yesterday is if you have both moonlanterns (the one you get from killing the drider and the one made with gale in the tower) you can use both at the same time
I'm pretty sure the githyanki creche and the blood of lathander are act 1, act 2 doesn't start until you enter the shadow-cursed lands
If you dont meet the drider together with the harfners, but alone, you can talk him into, giving you the lantern, and make him and the goblins walk without protection, through the shadows. Something like, the absolute told to give me that lantern. Later on, you find them near the moonrise tower as undead, it is really funny xd
if you don't encounter them or let them leave with the lantern, knock them put etc. they ambush you during the Kethric Thorm fight
If you go through the grymforge entrance and make your way to last light, you can be involved in the Harper ambush. If you play your cards right you can still talk them into giving you the lantern and walking to their deaths. The Harper’s are so impressed with your silver tongue that they may let you keep the lantern
I would also say the fight you need to go through in order to obtain the Spectator Eyes amulet
(At 7:22) I was playing last night as Gale and summoned a raven through the find familar spell and the raven's name was Quoth too when inspected it. Weird.
2:53, lol you are 100% thinking of the spell Moonbeam and not Sunbeam
You are correct. You can't move sunbeam.
Great video, thanks for taking the time to make it and share, but... how the heck does someone mispronounce Mystra when it's said so many times in game?
moonrise tower, harbour, zentarim's barrel with tadpoles, break it for extra 2 samples
Did you know in the docks behind the moonrise towers? There's a barrel that has five mind flare specimens inside of it
Oh when you first meet Balthazar in his lab with his giant goon and the others if you decide to kill him, there are two mind flyer tadpoles in the lab to take
So much in the tower that i just ignored i will try this all when i can
You can also get the Signed Visa if you're a bard and pass a few speech checks.
PSA: The strength potion isn't worth it if you're romancing astarion. He will soon have a breakup dialogue with you that can only be avoided by gaslighting best boy. You have to say something like "You can throw your body at me" then "Am I not attractive to you" and then you can choose sex (don't, he will breakup) friendship or a certain option that I can't remember will cause him to hesitantly continue dating you.
Long story short, he is very uncomfortable with your request, and he feels used afterward. Don't do it if you love your vampy boy
I used the Drider's moonlantern as an offhand weapon on a dual wielding fighter and released her after cleansing the land, for some reason she wasn't dead so you can get the best of both worlds there.
You can do the same thing in releasing her, and like the video mentions its actually way more beneficial to do so. She will live and your party essentially is permanently protected so they dont all have to be huddled around your lantern wielder anymore.
the blood of lathander is technically an act 1 item i think since you can still move between the mountain pass and the emerald grove area
Interesting. Us never changed into a cat for me. It just stayed the adorable brain it is
6:29 ahaha that's awesome 🤣
you missed the bell that summons a flesh golem.
That place where you put the Brain in and got the Githzerai Mind Barrier, there is 2 other Brains-ina-Jar you can grab from the Ship at the very beginning, at first I thought they were just like things to sell, or decoration for your camp... Did you only try that 1 Brain-ina-jar? i wonder if they others do anything.. I just haven't made it to the Colony yet.
They have some interesting dialogue & can be used there, but offer no rewards beyond that (same as the other brain jars you can find there).
Good boi brain puppy: turns into kitty around others
Looks like I did pretty good if I only missed the raven pet.
the blood lathander is real useful for shadowheart to use
yeah, shadowheart with the blood of lathander basically trivialises any encounters with the undead
Of course I get this video after starting Act 3
One of the few videos showing us real secrets. Most of the other videos call their videos SECRETS YOU WILL NEVER FIND, and then show you stuff that anyone can find without any effort lol
Regarding Araj and Astarion, if you are romancing him, apart from one very specific path of dialogue that you cannot mess up, it will completely close his romance up and you will not be able to fix it
I think Quoth the Raven is a Terry Pratchett reference, who was in turn referencing Poe
My saddest gamer moment in a very long time was when I remembered saving Us all the way in Act 1, but not remembering if he survived the encounter since I went for the early sword on the nautiloid, then getting to the cage in Act 3 & seeing it empty. My year is ruined.
You’re supposed to save him in act 2
How are you gonna just mispronounce Mystra when Gale won't shut up about her?
ETA on Act 3?
Thanks, really do appreciate this tips! :)
