Just what my mom did
I still have all my old cards, the decks I used are in sleeves and the rest are in the metal team rocket tin or their original deck box...would probably cost a small fortune to get them all graded 😂
I would pay for the grading in return for the profits percentage. Very serious.

Seems like a ton until you remember that rating cards costs money and getting a PSA 10/9 isn’t that easy.
Back in the day it was 7-8 bucks a card at PSA, and pack fresh cards make it very easy to high grades.

For real lol rev has so many items in his collection im sure that didn't even hurt. And raichu is a nice hit forsure. Thank you Jonathan
The price for those packs are insane, they’re priced like you’re guaranteed to hit a big holo in PSA 10 condition. Those packs shouldn’t be more then 1200 bucks tops.
It is insane. But I guess it's that really small chance you pull a Charizard that keeps the price high.

They're brand new so yea
@@tunemu9765 psa 10 is really hard to get, even new cards don’t get it that often and these have sat in a pack for years
Uhm, adding up PSA10 values only amounts to a little under 2 grand. Definitely not getting the money back for another decade or so, and I highly doubt all of these would even rate PSA10. 9 would be a safer bet, and that cuts the value by half or more.
@@23Fists do ur math again bud
@@sauskecat2594 assuming all are PSA10, which they won't be,, the total value is $4,005, with the raichu *auction eBay* value, still not worth the $4500 pack price he paid. He did not get his money back in even the best case scenario.
Now given most will only rate as a 9, the value plummets to my call of shy of 2 grand. So, where am I wrong?
Imagine you growing up in the 90s era and Pokemon cards came out that was the biggest thing growing up in my era the fact I remember those cards brings back memories begging my parents to buy them for me

Those prices are unreal. As in they aren’t real. No one is paying &20-$50 for an energy!
Psa
PSA graded. It’s stupid cause it costs as much to get graded lol
Probably be like 25-75$ to grade that energy so u just lost even more. People look at the grade but dont even realize u just dig a deeper hole to get it graded and just end up negative $$ anyways, even more so on grades below 9 or 10. Grading is a complete scam.
I miss actually playing with the cards. I used the shit out of the original Charizard I got. Obviously I’d love to have it in mint shape now, but the memories were worth it.
When I was about 5 years old back in 2000, my neighbor a couple of years older than me gave me all of his Pokémon cards when he got “too old” for it. I loved those things. I know most of them were first edition and I was only missing 2 or 3 of the holographics but besides that it was a complete collection.
When the time came when I was “too old” for Pokémon (2006ish), I passed that binder along to MY younger neighbor. If he held onto it, the cards inside would be worth a lot of money. Like I said, nearly complete, mostly 1st edition collection.
Sometimes I wonder if he passed it along to one of the other younger boys on the street once he came of age…. And for the record, I have no regrets about giving away my collection. It never really felt mine to begin with, since the majority was accumulated by my older neighbor.
Riiiight-So you became to old for this Ish at 11yrs old-it sounded good-lol

Electric type is called lightning in the tcg FYI
Dont know any pokemon hype train besides games and mispronouncing something doesnt matter lmao maybe he never watched the show and just pronounced them as he thought
Imagine trying to gatekeep Pokemon. Let the guy do what he wants. Just cause he mispronounces some names doesnt mean he doesnt like Pokemon. Heck Rattata is one of the names that are always pronounced differently in Pokemon media. Along with Arceus.
I think the thousands of dollars worth of sealed product from the early days can clue you in that this guy isn't just riding the hype train
The man thinks he's getting 200 for a poliwag, people like this are bad for the community. Seems like every 30+ Pokemon collector/youtuber feels they have to add psa values to justify paying out the ass for old cards

I always crack up when CZcamsrs freak out about pulling a card when in reality they just lost thousands of dollars on the pack 😂
Never seen somebody so excited to have lost money. Even if all of them got a PSA 10 which will not happen he still just lost 450 bucks. When you account for the fact that half will be nines or eights you’re down to 2k. Then on top of that if you want to get them graded you have to pay $100 per card. Not sure who in the hell thinks it’s a good investment to spend $6500 to potentially lose $2500-4500
opening up packs is just fun though

Of them will cost you 10 to 20 dollars form a collector buy sadly less and less people are buying Pokémon because some people will actually sell them for that high of a price but trust me no one will spend 50 to a 300 dollars for a card you can buy a xbox and so much more with that kind of money so if you really think hard if this was real you can’t be a millionaire all you have to do is buy Pokémon cards and sell them buy more Pokémon cards and sell them and get so much profits this guy is great at making content and is very cool 😎 but he buys all those Pokémon cards from his money that he gets by adds and From sponsorship from company’s
