Hey everyone! I kept wanting to add mods to this initial video cause there is over 800 mods at this point, lol. "Oh I like that... that to... oh and let's do that" was pretty much what I kept saying when I looked at mods everyday last week. That number will go up so I wanted to focus on what I started with. What were some of the first mods that you used?
More and more mods are appearing for the game, some of them are very good. It would be nice to see a selection of the ones you really like in more videos.
We need mods that provide a gaming experience that bring really enjoyable fights. For example, fighting alien animals on some planets, in multi-level caves, in abandoned spaceships. These special missions can be really addictive!
@@YsupremeO It's been a cool exprerience cause I'm still playing the main game unmodded. So I love mods that will plus that experience. When I first played, I didn't do a ton of side stuff. So when mods dropped, I was on NG+ and learning about Outposts and Ship Building.
Loving Starvival mod. A very comprehensive survival mod. Has a lot of settings you can tweak. Takes a lot of time to understand, but definitely a permanent mod on my load order.
I’ve seen a lot of modules of those! Really cool stuff getting made. Saw a Starfield Stock Market mod today. The mod author is super excited about it. Love to see it.
i think color filter removal (so simple but effective) really adds to the immersion and role play of the game
I think that was one of the first mods made/ported to Xbox too. Darker areas were a struggle at times.
I can’t seem to get it to work on pc for some reason
@@ZaneDidIt the description says to move it lower in your list if it isn’t working. Can’t really speak on PC since I just have Xbox.
@@Matt_the_TechRanger I did it manually so it’s not really on a list like w a mod manager. Also do you know if you still need to use the .ini file code?

Have about 4gb worth of stuff downloaded going for a survival vanilla plus vibe. Has been a nightmare getting it all to work but I’m determined and have tested just about every mod out there so far. About to attempt an actual play through.
Oh I bet it gets dicey since a lot of those mods can have overlap. It’s cool now that there are some Survival features in the main game that a lot of those mods can build on. But then totally new stuff too. Keep us updated!
The Color Filter Removal mod is awesome, it shows that Starfield is a beautiful game! The HDR effect with this mod is the best I've seen in a game. Great content, I love your videos!
Always appreciate ya! Dang I haven't tried it with HDR yet. Might have try it on the big board one of these days. I bet Neon is poppin'
Zone69 has a bunch accessory/clothing/armor mods out. The Varuun Cyber runner mods come with awesome modular accessory items.
Definitely plan on checking those mods out. Zone was COOKING that first week and I'm still seeing newer things. Love that idea of a Varuun Cyber Runner.

Where would you suggest adding the colour filter mod in the load order list?. I'm not sure where to put it.
@@infinitysynthesis it worked for me at the top but I ended up moving mine towards the bottom. Kind of like how I had TreyM film looks for Fallout.

Thanks! I’ve just been doing my load order like I did with Fallout. Same concepts. The color filter removal did mention in the description that you can load it low if you’re having issues with it. I’m sure there might need to be some adjusting at some point when I add more 😂
Can't enable the food and drinks mod, it depends on some other mod.
It doesn't have any requirements so not sure why you acn't use it? Maybe try a hard reset. @@Matt_the_TechRangernope, hard reset did nothing. It probably needs the unofficial patch mod but I'm not downloading that.
@@zangoon4546 I don’t use that so I’m not sure 🤔 Shows no requirements on the mod page online. It was one of the first mods I installed 🤷♂️
@@Matt_the_TechRanger yeah i can also report that I too can’t download it and that it’s saying it’s dependent on other files. It’s been that way for a few days now, and I even seen others mention it on Reddit, strange..
@@Chels1497 that’s super weird. There is another food rebalance mod. I just haven’t used it. Good news is that that functionality is in the game, you just won’t have the newer values with the mod. I’ll put it in the description if others continue to have issues.

it's a Anime with alot of space weapons & psychic power abilities, amazing suit designs & decent multi different classes of ships with demon looking AI Women or Men supporters.

@@Matt_the_TechRanger im looking for something like Realistic Chinese animations they used a different way to make the anime like Resident Evil animation movies or metal gear. But that one is funny Surprised you showed. ROFLOL
@@Silver_Tongue1990 right!? I saw another today. Not sure what can be done with stuff like that in Creation Kit. Maybe with Script Extender on PC.
@@Matt_the_TechRanger yep I have a friend that has a brother in-law who is a modder he is trying to make a mod in Starfield also but data mining and programming a mod made ship like in ( Outlaw Star ) and making the arms work as LT , RT , or Y but he has been having set backs so I know it's hard to make stuff with limits with (Creation Kit) plus even more Hard when builds it from the bottom to top. But who knows next year might show alot of talented people in which Bethesda has been looking for to hire 😉
Has anyone created a Mod that removes Dead Bodies from Ship that you have, lets say acquired? Fed up walking over corpses. 🤣
I don't know if there is a mod for that. Might be buried if there is since there are a ton now. But you can do that in the vanilla game. I usually move bodies to one part of the ship, go to a shipping yard or place to modify your ship, and then replace the hab where the bodies were. Like a reset.
Hey man. Love your videos. I saw the better drink and food mod but when I download it, it tells me I can't enable it because there are missing files for that mod. Any idea what it could be? I've downloaded a bunch of mods already but that's the only one I can't get working. Also there's a creation glitch I noticed on my end that certain paid mods go back to showing the credits and most of the time they delete themselves even though I've saved the load order with them. It's usually the same 3 or 5 mods that it happens with.
🙏 A couple others mentioned that too. I added an alternative mod that does something similar. If paid Creations are deleting themselves then you may want to submit a support ticket to Bethesda.
