These comments did not pass the vibe check. She did a really nice job here. You can tell it was special to her, and I love that she actually sang the bridge instead of just letting the background vocalists do it like the original does.

I'm sorry but it seems you are the clueless one. Don't mean to be rude. Lee Ann Womack was the original singer in 2000. Gladys Knight's version didn't come out until more than a decade later. I love GK but Womack nailed it. She also took it to number one on Billboard's country and contemporary.
