Limiting Access at Company Level in Business Central

This video talks through how we can limit access at company level within Business Central, we begin by talking through permissions sets and how they can be used in BC, we then move on to reviewing 2 separate user cards with access to different companies within the BC environment. We finish by reviewing the implications of the setup we ran through by logging in to BC with the 2 users for whom we reviewed the permissions and demonstrating their access rights.

Thanks Great video. A quick question, what would stop Allan changing the permission and giving himself access to the other companies from the Cronos Company he has permission for?

Hey there! Thanks for your question! So Alan would only be able to grant himself/other users permissions which have the same level of access as his ... so for example, if you're not a super user, you cannot go and assign yourself the super user permission. I hope this helps!
