  • Accidental #acetaminophen (#Tylenol) overdose can result in liver failure and death. The addition of alcohol increases acetaminophen toxicity and the risk of acute liver injury. During the holiday season, we see accidental overdose of Tylenol as a way of preventing hangover. The new maximum daily dose f acetaminophen is 3000 mg per day. Read all labels, and beware of consuming multiple sources of acetaminophen in over the counter medicines. Many also contain acetaminophen and can lead to accidental poisoning.
