      Thanks! And there is a tray that Shure offers that has screwed for this and other ones. But it might be discontinued since the PGXD model was also discontinued. But any 1U rack shelf and some Velcro are always an option 👍

    I use the PGXD with the SM58. It is used for receptions in a gallery space. Why is it that the mic works great when nobody is in the room, for checks, but as soon as the room is full off people, the mic barely works at all? We have the receiver mounted about 10' high on the wall. Thanks.

    • @ScottUhlMusic

      That’s odd, if it has direct line of sight, people shouldn’t interfere.

    Hey! Nice video: I do have a question though. I will be picking the PGXD up in a few weeks after making final payment on it. It will be my first wireless guitar system. Well, I just now started thinking about how to connect it to a the pedals on my pedalboard and I guess I was just curious on your thoughts on mounting the receiver to a pedalboard to avoid running additional lengths of cables from the receiver to the first pedal. Thoughts?
    And sorry for the dumb question. Played guitar for years and played in bands years ago as a teenager, but never had wireless then so a little clueless. HA!

    I have this system but it has been sitting in the garage in a secured case for about ten years. I need to use a wireless system this weekend and was wondering if you think it would still work if it’s been sitting there? Or if it’s bad to use it if it’s been sitting there the whole time

    Any chance you can talk about how to remove the lavalier mic? I cannot seem to remove it. Wasn't sure if it is a press & pull -- or screw off. There seems to be threads at the base. I don't want to force it and break it. Thank you!

    • @ScottUhlMusic

    • @ScottUhlMusic
      @ScottUhlMusic  Před 2 lety

      Yeah, definitely. You can't do two transmitters at the same exact time, and you'll have to t
      urn one off before using the other one. But you can use as many transmitters as you want going to the same receiver (as long as they are not on at the same time)

    • @ScottUhlMusic
      @ScottUhlMusic  Před 2 lety

      Looking it up, it looks like it needs to be connected to an XLR connector, so that would not work with this system since you need a Shure PGXD transmitter to work with it. But you can check out a video I did on a XLR dongle you can attach and get wireless out of any XLR system: czcams.com/video/gCgIhlSP6Oc/video.html
