Considering that Chicken Rice if of Chinese origin, if you want to go for authenticity, it has to be the way Brenda explained it. The halal version of chicken rice is nice and acceptable, but it is not the full experience, as how the original nanyang cooks had intended it.
I can relate with Amir, i too eat like that. Well at first because i had to recover from jaw but now, still i eat liddat

murah vs mahal always my favorite. haiyaa wei shen try get eejiban Chicken RiceBall la from Malacca then only know how nice it is.. roasted chicken still juicy even the sauce really authentic style one..wont regret liao.. i wonder what they put inside the rm106 chicken rice.. even Karen would be angry with that price! great brenda throw it away🤣🤣🤣

Normally yang mahal2 ni selalunya ang mo punya restaurant ni. Acah2 high end with fancy2 stuff hujung2 rasa hauk! Selalu camtuh.. Boleh belanja 10 orang member makan nasi ayam low range tuh and yet still puas hati..

Authentic chicken rice is the steam free range chicken, rice and chilli sauce, should look like the 3rd plate being served (not the taste). Blanch taugeh is the side dish.

Honestly I never eat any chicken rice beyond RM 10. But what the hell RM 106 for a plate of chicken rice. Even at hotels I don't encounter any chicken rice beyond RM 100 or even RM 50...based on my experience la because I traveled for work, course and meeting a lot (before pandemic covid-19).

Nasi ayam Chinese lagi murah.
Standard price nasi ayam hawker ialah 3.50-4-00 je. Kalu tambah nasi or ayam rm5.
