    We spent two weeks in Mexico City and had the chance to see a lot of the city. This city is one of the most lively I've been to whether it's the street food, street dancing or riding hot air balloons over ancient pyramids. I was worried to work remotely here, as I was not familiar with Wifi connection in the city. The wifi was great and location in general we stayed in was one of my favorite Airbnb's. At the corner of Reloj Chino de Bucareli, above Makan Restaurant - check this location out on Airbnb!

    Hi Nick, the metropolitan cathedral, is the largest of the Americas, and Mexico has the largest flags in the world, the one in CDMX is the flagpole is 50 meters high, that flag is 14 meters high by 25 meters wide, the tallest is in Piedras Negras Coahuila, near the border, that one the flagpole is 120 meters high, 150 tons steel flagpole, the flag is 60 meters long and by 34 meters wide, Mexicans are very patriotic people and love their flag.

    That election corruption protest is BS jajaja, México City has always protests for different things, people from all States come here to protest for their problems. I'm glad you had fun.

    Gracias por el vídeo de globo! Love the vid...........except for the "music" in the first half. Teotihuacán es fantástico! I've been to CdMx(MC) several times and love the city. There is so very much to experience, it'd be easy to visit for a month and still miss lots.

    My Question is you have to make an appointment to take a fly and the balloon 🎈

    • @nickseymourr
      @nickseymourr  Před měsícem +1

      I think it is possible to go and purchase tickets the morning of the flight but this activity is popular so I’d recommend reserving beforehand

    Those balloons? There was an accident a few months ago. Terrible. Right there. In Teotihuacan. They just care about the money, not safety. It's incredible that they are back to normal running this (deadly) tourist trap.

    Good to hear you had fun. They have a shortage of water and need to serve about 8,855,000 humans. So they have a major problem there as of April 2024. .

      The water shortage was going on early March as well when I visited, we tried to do our best to limit water use
