I put a tyger cover on mine, cheap and looks similar to yours. When it’s rolled up, and I didn’t notice on mine with the bike all the way to Florida and back it rubs on the sliding window frame and dulled it. Can possibly be buffed, just didn’t look into it yet.
Just a heads up if you’re riding with it rolled.

Does it look like you could shorten this bed cover without too much difficulty?

The side rails could probably be shortened with relative ease. I honestly did not pay close attention to how the fabric is attached to the front frame rail. It might be possible but I do not know. Sorry Chris and Thanks for the comment.
