The hole on the bonnet of the purple e46 compact with saloon front end was for an air filter to stick out of, I built the car from a vandalised gold shell during lockdown.

6:20 I was curious as to what this MOT thing was and while reading the paper on the cars dash I saw some weird stuff. They had a test in June of 2020 where the mileage was 147,274 mi. Yes, on the test it was put in as miles which is over 200k km. So maybe it was a lettering error in the office. But then the next test was in May of 2022, 2 years later, where the mileage was 145,777 km. Ok we got the distance of measure correct but....did this person drive in reverse over 1,400 km? Something isn't right here. Then they had a test in May of 2023 where the mileage was 147,296 km. Which is only 22 km more than the test in 2020. I didn't know it was going to go this deep but it blew my mind. Either they only drove the car 22km in 3 years, drove the car in reverse 1,400km from June 2020-May 2022, or they changed the cluster out for one with similar mileage then only drove it 1,500km?
Or just a typo by one of the MOT testers
