You said it: a family does not need ridicolous 0-100 nunbers. It needs a smooth and comoirtable ride, good practicality and the best safety standards. So, more like 100-0 distance.

Why do you obsess with the meb while there is no 3 row meb SUV. But there is ev9, eqb, eqs SUV, model X… nobody who needs a three row SUV, will cross shop between this and an ID3 or Skoda enyaq lol

EQB is just GLB with the engine replaced. Other are significantly bigger and more expensive. But yes, those who need 7 seater will (have to) choose among of these, not between E5008 and Enyaq - if you don't need 3rd row then why would you ever chose E5008 when E3008 exists?

I think he thin about price range. ID 4 and ENyaq, are not in the same class of EQS, Model X price wise.

As this is actually same E-3008 just with 3rd row, I believe main customers would be those, who want to have "occasional 3rd row". So when you'll test it for a longer time please at least show the 3rd row :)
FYI we have the previous generation of 5008 (gasoline). And it is so practical, that we just don't see any comparable electric replacement of it for now...
And unfortunately the new E-5008 is a little step back in practicality: 40/60 in the 2nd row instead of 3 separate seats, lifted boot floor.
Also how convenient is this gear selector on the front? The one on the central console in the previous generation is great, I can't understand why they changes this ...
Also it's good they still have physical buttons on the steering wheel. Unfortunately they are still non logical: right/left for volume up/down is okish, but up/down for next/previous song/station is just not possible to remember (and it flips depending on what is on the screen!).
How is Android Auto / Apple Car Play? Is it finally wireless? Can it show navigation hint on the instruments display?

I dont like that "furniture world " trend in cars ,its so easy to make stain spots than you cant get rid off ,you cant take it off and put in washing mashine.YOu need fabric that dont get stains and can be easily wiped

It has a start engine button.. this tells me everything I need to know about this car 😂 and only 160kw charging.
This car should have been released in 2020 not 2024 🤦

Cars coming out with these size battery packs in 2024 should be a minimum of 200kW
Has the ID 4 been updated since 2020 or where it came out?

@@iambenmitchellyes, it has! And it has faster charging now. I think it has 180kw now but not sure.
What matters more is the chargecurve though. If it drops off fast like Teslas do, you might get equally fast charging times if it has a flatter curve.
