@@hombrerusode40anos72 It's far easier to tell you which 80's Queen songs are not bad or ok, and I'm not gonna lie sir, they aren't many.
Fun fact - according to producer Mack, Roger wrote this song as a B-side rather than an album track, while "A Human Body" (the B-side to "Play the Game") was to take its place on "The Game". Freddie and Brian protested this - the album already had 3 melancholy tracks, so "Human Body" would've deemed the album too mellow. Roger eventually agreed to this, thus the songs were switched.

I remember cranking up The Game album as a kid , and I'm so thankful for CZcams and to be able to listen to The Game my favorite Queen album.

I've always Loved this song! It is so awesome....just like Queen! Personally, I don't really care what it's about. I just love it!!
There are tons of songs in which random words are thrown together, or so it seems, and yet they are lauded to the utmost, perhaps for their melody, their beat, the way they make you feel, or whatever. And somehow the words don't much matter. Case in point: Hallelujah, Take The Long Way Home - the meaning here is clear, but pretty sad. Nevertheless, Awesome song! Then there's even Bohemian Rhapsody - who really knows (or cares, what Freddie had in mind). The song is simply stunningly sensational. Then there's Brian's Tie Your Mother Down - what a title, and, topic! But, once again, phenomenal song!
So, whether it's the tune or the voice that captures you, who really cares? I mean, if the words can marry up with a great melody, then that's super, but not all songs need "a meaning" to be loved and appreciated.

@@Leander_ I think Delilah shouldn't be taken that seriously. Lol it was just a harmless song written by a dying man about his cat. I don't think it was meant to be a good song. But I do agree. I think there are certain songs(not just by Queen) that are widely considered to be bad that I love. For example, I like Staying Power from Hot Space(I am not a huge fan of the studio version but I love the live version) but also it's considered to be one of Queen's worst songs

Mack produced this well. Mind you they never used synths until they did The Game. Perhaps they were making up for it.

75yrs and have been listening to Freddie and Queen 45yrs. Just found this. Roger's drumming pheumonal. This was and is the only one band for me. What geniuses with music compilation. Love when guitars get aggressive. I need this music to forget aging because AGING SUCKS BIG TIME❤
