But just a week ago I finally got the courage to leave the relationship for good because the entire time we dated, he verbally and mentally abused me and I didn't even realize it until my best friend knocked some sense into me. I told her everything and she told me that he was abusing me and that I needed to get out before it turned into something physical. If I didn't escape from that relationship, I would have ended up in the hospital because being in this situation I was more depressed than I ever have an attempted suicide a couple of times. I convinced myself that I was in love with him that he was the only man I could ever love. This is where I met a guy from my Biology was a really good friend of mine for a good 4 months now, he asked me out and the rest is history.
