tearing down the rear end on my honda trx300. needs new pionion gear bearings.. i also show u hot to remove the pinion gear with a home made tool. it was quite easy. now am waiting for parts.,
If all else fails, you need to thump the axle out, gently !, From rear left, you can then remove backplate and bearing without to much grief, done it, it works
@@013doogie awesome! What I didn't realize is that the left wheel was still on and picking some weight from the ramp underneath (the wheeler was lifted on the tow bar in the middle) which had the axle coming through crooked. So sliding everything out became difficult. Thanks for the advice!
Mine makes a clink and a little jar is it my universal joint it's never been changed and I don't think it's my rear diff I put a new one a about a year ago.

How did you get the brake mounting plate off the axle? Mine is fighting me like crazy!
