  • In this episode we finally shoot off on our long awaited trip to Turkey Beach and head offshore for two nights on the reef. Can’t say we’ve even been on a trip like this before. The reds were on fire! This 6 hour trip north was well worth the wait!!! ENJOY!

      This was the first time we had bagged out on reds mate, often get 10-12 but they were having a good old chew that weekend !

    Awesome , Sykes looks like the place to go look for a red. Did you anchor up there or travel back to Fitzroy lagoon to anchor up for the night ?

      We fished north of sykes for the reds mate, but there are plenty east of there.

    Great to see your above the law mate. Travel restrictions didn't apply. As we watch you pull your boat up at the ramp. As last thing I thought was redland bay was 520ks away. When you could only travel 50ks from home.

      You can travel anywhere in QLD mate, they changed the restrictions last month

      @@fishyfingers3690 not jealous just following the rules that cops told me. Because I have a house in turkey. And I wasnt Evan allowed to bring my boat up to fish because I rang the cops. And they said i cant bring my boat up or I'll be fined. Like everyone else.

    Hey man awesome video we go up to 1770 a fair bit is it much closer to Sykes from turkey beach then 1770 ramp, yeah the fishos 🎣🤙🏼

      Hey mate, yeah it is definitely closer, I think by memory it’s about 13kms each way closer and you don’t have to contend with the low tides that 1770 has.

      @@tomwu543 any of the reefs in about 55-65m of water will have them mate, you just need to find little isolated rocks and you will be into them

      We only do 1 trip up there per year mate, it’s a grain of sand on the beach compared to most.
