- Today Xera Survival is the game subject to torture. This is a story of betrayal, friendship, pain, revenge, relief and so much more. Xera is a survival game based around base building, pvp, pve and exploration with a big focus on fighting. So I thought I was going to run into mostly toxic players, but actually found some of the nicest people ever. Big thanks to Nikolaus10, Pay, Luna & Boss for helping me out today :).

i played this game a few months ago, its a lot of fun being a solo or with a group its just a game to pass by time and its a fun thing to see robots rather then zombies always, thumbs up for sure

From the land claim posts to the MRE - it looks like these guys took inspiration from the DayZ Arma 2 mod.
More like it’s a reboot of War Z/infeststion survivor stories.
The situational awareness was so bad going down the stairs that I thought the guy clearly chasing you that we can see moving around for position on your screen to get close to you was your friend. lol
Aw man, I was so pissed when the H1Z1 team decided to go down the Battle Royal rout. I bought the game wanting to play a survival game, and they're like "nah, f**k y'all. We wanna make silly money".

I really like the way the bullets look in this game. Probably the most real looking bullets I've seen.
I played about 300 hours of Xera 5 when we had lockdowns, i enjoyed it but after a while it became a grind. In that mall you have bandits, they are better geared and have gold or silver bar on them that you can sell. It's why people go there and pvp is going on.

This game had so much potential in 2019. Then covid happened. This game could be so much if more people played. It feels just like PUBG but with base building/global stash. PVP & PVE servers
If anything covid would make it more popular.

i played xera with a friend few seasons ago. it was interesting, the ai being robots instead of mosnters/zombies was a nice change. it's was very fun until the chinese hackers arrived, and in one night they attacked all other clans, us included. the cheating was so obvious all of the clans learders met to discuss the situation and we created an alliance to wipe the hackers out. we found their base and....it was unbreachable. there were a million lvl3 turrets. lost interest after that and was the last time i played the game

When I played a group of us went around targeting any Chinese squads. Wiped a bunch of them.

ive been playing this game for a bitover a year and it is chaotic. when you join smaller servers tho its a bit more fun since you dont die every 3 seconds

Its polish so he said "fucking bitch, i would kill you again if i could" or smth, "ostatni w tabeli" was "last in the leaderboard", and Łapek which you killed was also Polish, and "stary jezus" was old jesus or smth like that. Btw im norpol mapper just another acc.

This reminds me of playing metal gear solid portable ops + 😂 I logged in to play multiplayer and there was only 9 players still playing. I played for a day or 2 and we all got to know each other 🥴 they had emotes and everyone would solute each other and we just tried to find glitches instead of pvp 😂
Small communities in multiplayer are (almost) always the most wholesome. The trolls don't have the players to go after and the elites have moved on generally if it was once a big game. Also, Portable Ops + was such a fun damn game. Always loved playing it back in the day.

I just had a idea. What is CZcams adds a feature that vibrates your phone at certain times when you tell it to in videos. So if there is gunfire it could vibrate

It really doesn't have any potential. This game has been dropped and repicked by several companies that do not develop the game but rather implement weekend events incentivising Twitchdrops and AirDrops in game via MTX. Those are the only updates after several years and game titles. Basically you play a very bare bones survival game in order to farm excessively cheap priced & easy loot to then sell on the inactive player market in order to obtain minimal currency to slowly accumulate to buy skins. ...Just skins. That's the whole point of the game, not survival. Yet every item from food to guns is dirt cheap and so easily obtainable in the game and from the market that there is almost no market for any of them besides ~3 guns and the only reason for that is that they can only be looted during exclusive periods and even those guns aren't worth the price, wait, or grind. Nor are there really enough playing to keep the market active or taking half of the day to sell an item for next to nothing. &You can only list a few items without being offered to pay for a monthly subscription in order to extend the amount of items that you can sell. Another example of the extreme misbalance, an M4 rifle will profit you less than a thousand currency but even a slightly decent skin will go for many millions. So just do 50,000 loot runs, take the unlimited amount of time it would take to actually sell those things and boom. You did it! You spent over a month to make this one specific type of armour black! It's just a loot farm buy skins simulator. &Every so often you would notice the game was pulling way too much which led to suspicions of it being a cryptocurrency miner. Out of date anti cheat, advertised base building despite it not being in game for over a year, From Early Access to many, many years later almost nothing has changed, I mean the list could literally go on forever. Honestly one of the worst games I've ever played and that's putting it kindly.

No there is no distinct difference. I pointed out many reasons as to why the game itself has no potential. The core of it as a survival game is entirely broken and the gameplay loop is endless boredom. Have you even played the game? I tried every single version of them. It COULD have potential but it doesn't, now that's a distinct difference. The several companies responsible for the game, or lack there of, and the content within it can have no potential at the same time. Both can be true simultaneously as lack of potential is not exclusive between one another but rather a commonality between things that a definitively linked together. It is self evident that this game is bad and has no potential because it was release almost a decade ago and never once showed any promise but rather blatant attempts to exploit it's player base.

The thing about saying something has potential is that it's mearly speculative. It's not universal or objective. You could take anything bad and speculate upon varying factors. Doesn't take away the fact that it is still bad. Nice semantics though. Join the debate team at your high-school, I'm sure you'd get more out it than defending this hunk of junk.

It was called War Z or Infestation survivor stories. It shut down but someone bought the license and rebooted the game on steam for free and it’s called “The New Z” now.

Can we clearify something for all the people who don't know what survival is? Survival is surviving, this means the focus of the game is surviving. Games that focus on PVP like rust are more battle royal more than anything with little parts of survival added that really don't have any purpose in the game at all. For example: 7 days to die survival game, rust pvp driven battle royal on an open map............................. I hate the way the game industry is right now. ITS NOT SURVIVAL IF ALL YOU DO IS FIGHT OTHER PLAYERS lol

The devs screwed up and made a mission to place a land claim. All that did was take all the places available. I played it when it first came out. I see they never fixed that.

This new generation and hitting the jump button for extra dodge "potential" is cringy as hell. You can tell they can't even comprehend games that cover and peek are present in because they do the same thing in those games! I mean when old school gamers used to have someone charge at their cover they stepped back using view obstruction and laid down so that when turning the corner they would be 10 feet back laying on ground, you guys just circle each other hoping for good shots... I am sooo grateful to have been born before they took most of the skill out of 80% of the games.
I remember talking to someone about this and mike tysons punch out and timing training and the guy laughs so I put a quarter in his and his friends hand and told him the second you see me move close both your hands... grabbed them both and smiled as I saw them close their hands in a delayed reaction. me 40 years old versus 20 year olds... new gamers getting soft.
