Swimming with Manatees in Crystal River should be on everyone’s bucket list

- This was an adventure of a lifetime in Crystal River Florida. We started off by snorkeling and swimming with Manatees. We saw dozens of them from huge adults to nursing calves. River Ventures provided us with all the equipment necessary from a wetsuit to snorkel gear all included. After the manatee swim near three sisters, which is the best thing to do in Florida we wanted to do the Airboat ride through the Homosassa River and all I can describe it as was like a race car on the water. The driver was amazing and the experience was unlike any other. We had such an amazing time doing these experiences we are already planning our next trip using this company. We have nothing but great things to say about them and if you plan on going to this city definitely consider booking with them (link below). If you have ever wanted a once in a lifetime experience then definitely go swim with manatees. Crystal River Florida is the Manatee Capital of the World...for real...and you cannot get this experience anywhere else and trust me on this....while you're there do the Airboat ride...you won't regret it. They were so cute, they were like big pets. That looked so cool. Ya, I'd need a pool noodle. I can swim, but I sink like a 240 pound rock if I don't stay moving🤦♂️OMG, the airboats haul ass, that looked like a blast. Airboat for me, easy winner. Haha they were so gentle and chill to be around. The pool noodle was awesome because we swam for about 2.5 hours and it made snorkeling effortless….I don’t know anyone that can/wants to tread water that long. You are right the airboat was waaayyyy better than we expected and a huge adrenaline rush. Thank you so much for subscribing and for watching. We will also.

Hey guys, I really enjoyed seeing your experience with the mantees ☺️ they are so curious. We swam with them a few weeks ago and we're also blown away by how many there were, it was so much more than what we were expecting.
And the airboat tour looked exciting! So glad you enjoyed the area!
Yes it was so awesome and unique to swim with them. They are huge but so gentle. We are happy you got to experience it as well, we would like to go again maybe February time frame when there are lots more but we were so happy to see as many as we did. We weren’t expecting that many.
And yes the airboat ride was an adrenaline rush, that was like a roller coaster on water. Thanks for watching our video!

Hey again guys!! Oh my goodness I want so many of those manatee plush toys haha. I actually saw manatees for the first time the other week in Belize -they’re such incredible creatures 😍 We didn’t go swimming with them though as they were pretty shy and swam away quite quickly. The company you went with looked pretty responsible as well! The airboat tour looked epic also! So much native wildlife. I would also be a bit scared of the manatees touching me also 😂 Thanks for taking us on these awesome adventures!!
Thank you very much for the compliment and for watching the video. The manatees are amazing creatures and so gentle. It’s intimidating being in the water with animals twice your size but they are very curious and friendly. The tour company was great, we cannot say enough about them, they took care of everything and made sure everyone understood why the rules for interacting with manatees are in place. The airboat ride was an adrenaline rush and free the fast paced ride it turned into a very nice ride through the backwaters where we saw dolphins and other wildlife. We cannot wait to go back.
