City folk should stick to the water parks in the city if they don't know how to compose themselves in the wild.

My exact thoughts, how does this even happen? Wouldn't want to see any of these people launch a boat.

I went tubing there once, it was disgusting! I’m from Niagara Falls…now that’s a real river!

If you broke the skin in the Salt River get to a doctor fast! There are flesh eating amoebas in that water.

@@650gringo already did, there was one mention of it in 2016, all other cases were disproven. Considering the amount of traffic the river gets, it can be safely assumed that there are not flesh eating amoebas in the salt river. Stop trying to scare people on the internet or send an actual link if you are actually trying to help people out.

@@650gringo actually, the case in 2016 was from the Colorado river. That is the information I found from googling “are there flesh eating amoebas in the salt river”. Look, if you have proof I am actually interested in learning, and will owe you an apology. If not, you are just scaring people for no reason.

@@650gringo also, every source I can find on the internet says the salt river stays 68 F year round while flesh eating amoebas live in much warmer temperatures.

Something is different at the river...I have been going there for like 40 years. Well not the last 5 years and nothing is recognizable things that did not change in 35 years are gone and changed just look at Phon D Sutton and where the Verde merges seriously changed

    Yeah
I won't even go near the Colorado River without a life jacket anymore.
    The river is beautiful
But it is like the sea and can take or give life at any time
From calm to wild who can tell ?
A nice ending to your story
