My melodies I’ve been told were pretty catchy and yet it’s so simple for me. The hard part of me making a full beat instead of the melody I’m not the best at transitions. Like this one beat I’m working on right now. I got the chorus a little fast vibe to it but the verse right after it goes to slow and it’s hard for me to tweak out the transitions.

You know this is actually a really simple starting point. Check out Mozart (possibly the best melody writer in history) Symphony 40 in G minor. The repeated rhythm is something very easy to notice.
Another point that you can learn from Mozart and apply here is to use the same intervals, but go in a different direction, or vary how you get up or down.
    Mozart does something like this:
    1. 345 1. 345
    5. 431 5. 4(2)31
Basically he uses one rhythm pattern to rise to a target note, then he comes back down from the target note to the home note using the same rhythm but changing the direct a little.

My music theory heart died a bit when you said skipping a note each time. Mostly because it's true.

Very cool little idea, it's funny, this visually explains part of what I've been gravitating to with melody writing for a long time. My mind always thought of it internally as some kind of relationship or moving patterns around in the scale with the same rhythm for a while.
Still, inspiration is unexplainable and why certain rhythms or variations work better than others. Nonetheless, this is a very cool little video to help you start to get the idea of how Pop singers often write melodies - whether they fully realize this is what they are doing or not.
P.S. I really want to move that Countermelody around, tho! Ahahahah
