the first movie that leon appears in is called "La Femme Nikita" 1990 and its totally worth a watch. also another set of great action movies would be "The Boondock Saints" trilogy
If I was pressed into naming one favourite movie of all time, I would definitely choose Leon...I absolutely love this movie (both cuts of it) and could watch it forever and never get tired of it. It is a flawlessly perfect Besson masterpiece
Props for that Big Pun part 👌🏽
Great and excellent character driven story. All three leads turn in a masterful and unforgettable performance. They really don't make movies like this anymore.
Fun Fact: During the filming involving all of the police cars on the street, a man ran from a store he had just robbed. When he encountered the movie set by accident, he saw all of the "police" and gave himself up to a bunch of uniformed extras.
Crafting Moments Fact: In a 2014 Playboy interview, Gary Oldman said his screaming of the now iconic line "Bring me everyone!" was improvised to make director Luc Besson laugh. He'd said the line in a regular voice in a previous take. But then he cued the sound guy to slip off his headphones, and shouted it as loud as he could. Besson loved it and used it is in the film. Oldman says that is now the line fans quote most when they meet him.
Inside Acting Fact: According to Jean Reno, he decided to play Léon as if he were "a little mentally slow" and emotionally repressed. He felt that this would make audiences relax and realize that he wasn't someone who would take advantage of a vulnerable young girl. Reno claims that for Léon, the possibility of a physical relationship with Mathilda is not even conceivable, and as such, during the scenes when such a relationship is discussed, Reno very much allowed Portman to be emotionally in control of the scenes.
Best action revenge movie ever made!
This movie must be watched as a director version. The theatrical version has so many scenes (and so important) edited that it doesn't explain the bond between Leon and Matilda.
Smoking Aces....nuff said
EVERYONE!! Another fantastic review. That was fun.
yooo discoooo hows it going man
Le Femme Nakita. Same writer/director of Leon. It's in french so it has subtitles, it's wonderful.
If you watched it on Netflix it's actually the cut version, 25 minutes shorter, called "The Professional". They used the title of the full length film for some reason.
No sequel was made.
Oh yeah ima need to watch the full version
Thanks for the video!! See you later!! Stay safe.😀
Gary Oldman is fantastic in
“True Romance” - which you would really enjoy
You should watch Nikita aka La Femme Nikita (1990) where Leon (sort of) first appeared
sounds cool, just added to my amazon prime que
Léon is french, the actor too and the film is was made by a french.. Luc Besson
Good movie
EVERYONE loves this film
it is very necessary to cut your reaction to show only the scene of the movie.
People who watch video reactions already know the movie, the interesting thing to see are the reactions. Showing only the scenes of the movie without reaction does not make sense.
When did I cut my reaction?
Please NEVER cut your reaction to SHOW only the movie scenes.
movie scenes are only a complement of your reaction
*do not work without you reaction*
Sometimes Less edit are Better
When did I cut my reaction?
