I love this movie. The CGI effects are on the money to me, as the picture is supposed to resemble a comic book.
And Mila... what's up! (A night at the Roxbury reference) she is looking real good in this one.
Thats the key difference between practical special effects and CGI special effects. Practical special effects if done correctly look good all the time because it's real it's actually there. Practical special effects have never changed even in 2022 it's done the same way. Now CGI special effects on the other hand that can date a movie because the technology behind CGI is constantly changing. Its improving and getting better and better so the earlier versions don't look as good as newer versions. Thats why practical special effects will always win over CGI special effects any day every time.
So glad to see this in the feed. It is one of the movies that predicted the pandemic. The initial narration in the beginning says it was released by the gov.
This pandemic was not released by the govt...but they sure did weaponize it to get more money
Oh jesus....predicted is not the correct term. They didn't predict anything...that's like saying "outbreak" predicted monkey pox.
Finally a reaction to this movie. No reactor has done this one. I am subscribing now
I suggest you also watch Equilibrium. It's an older movie but IMO it has better Gun Kata scenes! It also stars Christian Bale!
I love equilibrium
Guilty pleasure movie of mine with young Milla Jovovich. :)
This movie has a lot of flaws due to Sony rushing it, the CGI suffered greatly because of it and most of the CGI you see were actually only first drafts. If you read into the the behind the scenes it’s pretty messed up how Sony fucked with the directors plans for this movie
You should build your reaction channel by watching movies to which there are zero (or almost zero) reactions, then when people seek a reaction video to them, they will have to watch yours. I've compiled a list of great reaction movies for which there are no reactions (well, to a few, there are one or two reactions, most most have zero).

I highly recommend the Predator Prequel PREY on Hulu. It's pretty impressive.
I think shes supposed to be like a female version of equilibrium
How did you decide to watch ultraviolet of all things.
Idk lmao seemed pretty chill and it was kinda cool
Watch Cinderella man it’s an amazing film based on a true story! Big fan btw been here for over a year!
Yes
Take note, Amazon, HBO, etc. Quality like this is why piracy is winning!
A lot of people hate on Ultriviolet's VFX, but they are in this way on purpose. It came a year after movies like Aeon Flux and Sin City. They had the resources and the knowhow to make the effects "better" but they intentionally went for that animated comic book look. Trouble was - it was only in some scenes. Sin City had already successfully done that, but it was an animated 3D comics throughout the whole movie and people had no problem grasping the concept. In Ultraviolet they wanted the middle ground and it doesn't usually work very well when you try to go for the middle. They wanted the animated, almost drawn-like look of the comics, combined with the blockbuster level of VFX and they had budget only for one of those. Either go all in or stay out and interpret in another way. Corridor Crew had a discussion about it how some of the VFX are top of the line, almost GOD-tier level, but then you get a 2D drawing right after one of those and it's really confusing. The other thing that didn't help is the basically non-existent marketing the movie had. Back than i was a sucker for movies like this and was going to the cinema for each and every one of them. But i found about it almost 3 years later. To best sum up this movie, it's basically "Blade" meets "The Matrix" featuring "Equilibrium" & "Resident Evil" .
P.S
Oh and the reason why the dialogue and some of Jovovich performance feels off is because they completely locked her out of the editing process of the movie, so she couldn't give a feedback and input on her performance. So yeah - not a good idea to lock out your lead actor out of the editing.
Hi perry
Sup
Friends forced me to see this in the theater. It was awful.
I went to this on my own. I have no excuse other than the trailer looked good. But I walked out about halfway in 😂
this movie was pretty awful....the cgi was oooooofffff
