I might be a bit dramatic but this video made me cry because I get it! Chemistry is hard for me but as I gear up for another round of it next semester, I'm motivated to study and prepare in advance to change that. Thanks for these videos. It's nice to have help like this.
Hey everyone, I'm here to help. If you have any questions or just want to learn more, click on the link in the description above. It'll take you to a page where you can ask me questions.
omg so with problem number two to get 285 you have to time 2.15 by 35.28 then you times 3.24 by o.o821 then you divide the number you get from 2.15x35.28 by the number you get from 3.24x0.0821 just thought that might be helpful for some because at first i had no clue how he got 285.
Today my teacher literally had a whole hour to teach us this and she just quickly went through it, and went back trying to re-teach us during the lesson. I got overwhelmed, wanted to cry went to the restroom and back and she was still rambling, you have saved me so much time by staying late at school to get tutoring by her making my confusion worse, the slow pace and slow explanation is the type of teaching style I learn best. THANK YOU SO MUCH
DUDE YOU ARE AWESOME! YOU'RE AN AMAZING TEACHER! IM TOTALLY GOING TO SUBSCRIBE. I rarely understand chemistry but this video made it look so easy. thank you so much!
As a Homeschooling mom with no chemistry knowledge, you are a lifesaver genius! Love your approach because it breaks everything down in such a simple and easy way to comprehend. I wish you would develop a curriculum of your own if you haven't already! Your mother must be very proud!
Tyler you are the best!!! You explain everything in your Chemistry videos so well and you make learning the material fun, you're a lifesaver man! So glad I came across your channel!
Thank you, thank you, thank you so much for making these videos! I'm doing review packets as summer work for AP Chem and I essentially had to teach myself how to do a years work of chemistry concepts in about 2 months. All because the only thing my teacher taught us last year that we didn't already know was how to light a Bunsen Burner. Because of your videos I'm 100% sure it's the only reason I'm not failing yet.
I can't even begin to explain how amazing you are! I have an exam coming up with redox, net equations and gas laws and you have been a complete life saver!
Thanks heaps man, I know this video is nearly 6 years old but you've helped me heaps for my chemistry exam tomorrow, thanks dude! p.s. CZcams videos are so much easier to follow than teachers during class
Your videos have given me vigour and hope in my chemistry class! You make it so much simpler and enjoyable! Thank you! Do you have anything on quantitative calculations?
In India all that calculation has to be done manually...bcoz u can't use calculators..😅😭😭😢..what a pain... And Tyler is the best chemistry teacher...thnx a lot...😍
good question. i have a video that should address exactly what's confusing you. watch "ideal gas law introduction," and message me if you still have questions.
Thank you for making me no longer want to set my Chemistry text on fire. I don't understand why it is so difficult in the book, but so easy to understand from you! I really appreciate all of the videos and help!
Thank you thank you thank you. Spent hours last night trying to understand this and once again Mr. Dewitt has me understanding it in 5 minutes. I should just come here BEFORE I go to the book.
I love you so much. You make chemistry so much easier. It not just one video either. You have been teaching me from the beginning of the semester. Just absolutely love you
I know you probably hear this a lot but you have really saved my bacon. I consistently understand you better than I do both my professor and other online tutors. You have made my day better :) Thank you
you anticipate the students' difficulties well....that is a gift...I laughed out loud when you moved T to the left side...and when you leave R to the end and avoid "triple-decker" fractions....EXACTLY the trivial BS that scrambles (weak) math minds like mine. THANKS again! I owe you a pitcher of Heineken. Cheers!
THANKYOU SO MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO ❤️ it really helped.. considering that my teacher didn’t really explain the n and t and all that stuff but I get it now!!!! he gave us a 4 page worksheet and I didn’t know how I was gonna complete it!! This helped soooo much, you are the reason I understand significant figures.. please keep doing this 🙏🏾👍🏾🙂
+Rophi Tejada hey I got the same answer but I eventually know what he was on about. So bassicly in the calculator you put as a fraction all together as 2.15X25.28 and then underneath you put 3.24X0.821. So yeah you don't do it as a separate fraction just as one large fraction!! :) hope you got the correct answer?
You make me like chemistry Mr. Dewitt. I wish I could say the same about my professor. I saw your lecture at the TED. Great job by the way. Thank you for being a visual educator.
Bless you man! Every time I have a test for chemistry I always look you up. For some reason you make the process of the problem so much more simple than any of the teachers at my school. Thank you, because of you I've aced all of my tests! Hopefully I did good on this one too. :-)

This is how you know that Tyler was born to do just this!
It really is satisfying to have those units cancel out! :-p
That's legit how I feel when everything is balancing correctly in my equations, haha. It does feel amazing
If you are a chemistry teacher it feels good to cross out units. The excitement is probably not the same if you are a chemistry student.

By multiplying 2.15*35.28 and dividing it by 3.24*0.0821
