Loving these vids. We'll be in Albufeira for the month of March 2025. Haven't been to the Algarve since 2019, so we're very much looking forward to it. Great vibe, great food and above all fantastic people.
Have never stopped for a drink , the marina is part of our long walks. We usually go in September when there are festivals. They have the worlds largest Cataplana , it’s about 13 feet wide and 6 foot tall. For your info…there used to be a Gypsy market every fortnight on the first and third Tuesday of the month. It was on ground beside the bus station. It has now moved to the area where your video started, in the marina. It’s worth a visit. Another wee gem of a video.
In Albufeira just now partly due to ur recommendation, also tried the Iguana restaurant & you’re right when you say food and views are excellent, thanks for the great content as usual.
Pity you couldn't get to vilamoura kev it's a great place bit more upmarket than albufeira so costs more to stay, The cheapest way to stay there is find some accommodation in quarteria nearby and yes there is a hostel 😆.

It is getting expected expensive. A pint in Portugal is €2-€2,50 Prawns focus €3-€4,50 Tourists are getting targetted. Food is worse, I usually get a triple burger from burger ranch. This year it rose from €8 to €13
I’m a wee bit reluctant to say how wonderful Albufeira is Kevin, don’t want it spoiled by too many people. Portugal is fantastic, now much, much better than Spain. The Spanish no longer like us Brits since Brexit & Portugal is much cheaper than Spain. Thanks for sharing, I’ve walked around that Marina many times, lovely family feel👍👍
