We The North an average of 100-500 a week and they have billets that feed them at home and all their meals are covered on the road it's just spending money
We The North They also get free top of the line equipment and some get sponsors. Not to mention they get their college paid for.

@@1992drcujo Windsor only got in bc they were the host and they lost in the first round. Paid off for them in the end but erie had no break after their parade they had to go back playing with no time to prep. Dipietro might’ve had one of the greatest goalie tournaments I ever saw tho.

Dylan Strome man, you have got to feel some sympathy for him. Got drafted back in 2015 and has gotten barley any NHL experience. He's been sent down to Erie for the past 5 YEARS, and now he had a chance to clinch one last victory in the OHL and show he's ready to step up to the NHL, but he came up short once again. I really hope Vegas looks into getting him cus he needs a fresh start and a new team

Spitfire fan here. Can't blame Ryan and the Otters for being devastated. We lost in the 1st round whereas they won 4 playoff rounds and made it all the way to the final. It's kind of BS. I feel for the kids on Erie.

Bordie Bowe the team that is hosting it automatically gets to compete in the tournament regardless of their regular season and/or playoff stats. Windsor started out in the round robin and worked their way into the final before winning it all.

Windsor was eliminated in the first round of the OHL playoffs. But since they hosted the tournament they, without earning their place, got to play in the tournament. Then they won.
