@@Cabeza492 Yeah. Other maps are considerate and end the mission early if you destroy all enemy forces. Backwater does not; all you can do is wait out the timer.
That part of the game is the most time consumin cuz u got to survive for 30 min and the attacks arent even big so you could defo play diablo 2 while doing that

Looking at the StarEdit files for Terran03 (the 30 minute mission) there are disabled triggers for an alternate win condition. If the player destroys a Zerg building there is an audio file telling the player that they may be able to break through the Zerg defenses to reach the dropships. This creates a victory condition of Zerg controlling 0 Hatcheries. For whatever reason Blizzard decided to not include this alternate objective in the final build but left the triggers in the files, but disabled so they aren't used in the final game. Had they kept it in, it would have been a huge time save for the speedrun, but we also wouldn't see this Diablo gameplay.
the nintendo 64 version still enable it, maybe somebody not agree about the winning condition or forgot about it then they release the n64 and enable it because difficult game control and make the game faster. just opinion btw
ye, even in pro games, i see unsieged tanks many times, and even without pro games, i think they do a pretty decent damage like that, and not just against buildings, Unless its to out range something, there is really no need to do that,, oh well, i mean beside attacking from hills, etc.. so in general face to face fights, where it doesn't matter basically, there, there is no need

You know that you can just kill all Zerg in the survival mission and finish it a lot faster? ;) *edit* ok you say it doesn't but I always end the mission that way on pc. Works.
@@MrLlamaSC I play level 3 with the goal of the fewest deaths and wiping out all the zerg and their buildings. Have you figured out how they score the game? It's never made any sense to me since I've gotten higher scores loosing more guys and I did when I've only lost 1, 2 or 3 and my production numbers were virtually the same.

Specifically for SC2 AMD is kind of lack luster as a processor because it lacks single core performance. If you can stick to an i3 or i5 laptop but it's all up to you and your budget.
I wouldn't say tired of, but I do love RTS games a ton as well. So sometimes I get on a kick for a week or so where I play something else :) Nice way to keep things fresh and exciting

I think in order to beat this world record, in addition to having a faster time, you have to get better gear from d2 mf runs during mission 3.

I'm almost positive you can murder the entire map of the drop ship level and its faster. You just need to swap from defense to offense

Stop sieging your tanks when they're hitting buildings. Tanks do more dmg against single targets when unsieged.

Try looking for a laptop with an i5 and has minimum 2.3GHz for the processor. Those usually work best even if it is just integrated graphics.
