This was my first time as a foreigner in the beautiful island of Lombok, Indonesia. This is my third stop on my Indonesia tour. This island is so beautiful and the people are even kinder. I loved visiting Kuta and Mataram and trying mie ayam satay and seeing nasi sambal. I get to add these foods on to my list with Nasi Goreng, Indomie and Martabak.
I even got to meet some cool kids, visit a authentic market and meet the Cristiano Ronaldo of Mataram. Lombok has amazing street food, and some of the kindest people I've ever met. I go on a market hunt. Kuta has so much life and energy, this country continues to amaze me.

Lombok is amazing island. The name of "Pulau 1000 masjid". You must get adventure to Gili Trawang...most beutiful small island in Lombok, and you must try tradisional food in Lombok "Plecing" n "Ayam Taliwang"...little spicy tradisional food.

To much sellers in Mandalika I think. You should go to other side of the island.
You should try the culinary there, ayam taliwang, sate rembiga, plecing kangkung are ones of their native culinary there. It tastes better than if you eat Lombok food in other islands
