He's saying it looked fake and in the context of hhh's booking that up to this point has been based in reality, this angle jumped the shark, did flips over it and hit it with a macho man elbow. Then, the shark exploded.
I don't think the blood splatter or Gable's wound were bullet holes. I think they were supposed to be blunt-force wounds from the hammer. A least that's how it read to me.

Nope this was awful, accept it was awful, accept that maybe if your 8 years old it is amazing. But a grown adult I watched this and just shook my head in disbelief at just how bad it was.
It always gets me when critics (like Sedgwick here) say things like "I'm not scared by this." Does Drew McIntyre intimidate you? I guess you really do hate Dominick Mysterio too, right? You're able to suspend reality to consume wrestling enough to critique it, but not here?
That's so odd to me, and part of the reason why I have a hard time taking some wrestling personalities seriously. If you don't like it, you don't like it. That's fair. To add the caviot that this doesn't scare you, however, is misguided.
And the camera operator bit?! Are you serious?! Only NOW?...ONLY NOW do you care about the scene falling apart because the camera operator is present? As if this isn't a TV show where a wrestler attacks an official or a referee and no one presses charges...where a match gets stopped do to disqualification, a beat down happens, and no one is arrested for assault....I mean hell, Bron Breaker and the Rock apparently tried to "off" Ricochet and Cody Rhodes respectively. You don't here anyone saying "well, this fell apart for me, because the cameraman was present for all of the home invasion angles I've ever seen, and doesn't that make them an accessory or accomplice to a break in? I just can't take this seriously."
These are essentially my thoughts as well.
I think it’s okay to critique wrestling logic when it contradicts *itself*, but it often leads into overanalyzing and over-critiquing when you try comparing it to real world logic
His point is it looks like people were offed in that wyatt 6 segment. Even with undertaker and buried alive we knew that buried person would return. They have to walk a tight rope for this to work because the initial excitement will wear off then it will need a foundation to carry on the momentum. Now they building the foundations of the wyatt 6.

First of all, Vince isnt there. Vince was the one that tempered a lot of what happened. Second, there is TNA people who worked on the broken gimmick and that worked. Third, Firefly funhouse was in "another world", what if the portal was to a "different gorrila" and it was an "illusion". Third, you keep saying supernatural and then the report said its more "real". So how much of the info that is there for you to try and rubbish this before it started?! You actually dont know exactly what happened. You are inferring things from imagery and words and the small messy parts are where Wrestling plays best in. I think there is more to this. Especially with background videos etc. about how a lot of it is potentially a psychotic break type approach to the story. Triple H is in control of this now, Bray isnt there and Vince is gone. The Brood (both versions) - 4 out of the 5 members eventually became world champion (if you count the ECW title, if not then 3/5). Kane - legend, Hall of Famer, multi time world champ. The fucking Undertaker! Come on man!
Hey glasses, wanna calm down a bit? What a pretentious little worm that guy is. “That’s a crime”. Yeah man, Stone Cold attacking Booker T in a supermarket is technically an assault as well. They’re just fun segments. You guys are looking way too deeply into a fun ending of Raw. And the best part about it is that people all week will be wondering “what happens next?” and that means it was successful.
I was always thought it was cool to keep Bray's legacy going, especially since I was his vision, and his brother was apart of it. A major part in fact. I did however have reservations. The loss still bothers me. Of course I never knew Bray. I'm a fan, and I hated the undermining of Vince that ruined Bray's legacy from the get-go. His micromanagement ruined his mystique, from the cult leader to The Fiend. Bray finally came back, and you could actually feel the shift in power, and you could feel that Bray Wyatt was about to make the journey of his career. You could feel the phenix metafor play out in real time. Tragedy struck, and we lost a brilliant performer. I just became worried that his legacy would be tainted by this, but I always remembered, his own brother was in a major part of it. The lengthy teasing began to feel a bit cliché. However everything changed last night. The visuals were masterfully horror movie accomplished. When I saw Bo, Uncle Howdy, I felt a lump in my throat, and cheerful inside. Bray may nolonger be with us, but his legacy lives. The reveal apparently was perfect. Perfect timing, and execution. I'm looking forward to what is to come.
I thought it was executed extremely well and builds intrigue for the next shows. Now, how it plays out from here remains to be seen, but all in all, it was a great start.

The camera gripe is so dumb, cause if you're a cameraman, and freaky Nikki Cross points and tell you to go capture what they've done. You would go do it. Also the line "Don't think to much about it - I won't", and then overthinks it 😴

😮 oh yeah one other thing I don’t know if you guys noticed that you probably did. Chad, when Otis turned on him, he kept yelling in the ring, but we are family. You can’t leave me. I won’t let you in the backstage area when they left Chad again, stated you can’t leave me. We are family. I won’t let you. Then in the final scene of the show, Chad is the one that we can clearly see as the last victim of the night. So perhaps their motivation is family and those who are betraying or not treating family the right way at least that’s what I think.
