  • Ocean Orchestra is a progressive/folk group based in Maryland. The group played its new song "Proverbs: Love and War" for the first time as a full band in public at Mason District Park in Annandale, Virginia on June 24, 2018. The melody is a traditional Hungarian folksong called "Én az éjjel nem aludtam egy órát," and appears on the 2010 album Vándorfecske by the Hungarian band Holdviola. Jennifer Cutting adapted Holdviola's arrangement for Ocean Orchestra, and also wrote new lyrics in English for the piece, adapted from proverbs about Love and War.
