She was responsible for saving the lives of 148 people. Plus, a surprise heartfelt thank you from Marty Martinez, a passenger on Southwest Flight 1380. Read her book. She dealt with the female pilot thing her entire career. Nasty stuff. It sucks. She just kept putting her head down and looking past it and kept flying. Pick up her book. Good read.

@@OMG_No_Way Completely agree. A very inspirational book and person. But I guess even more impressive because of the strange crap she experienced. She is very humble about it and has the rare ability to see that all experiences have wisdom (good and bad). A story of perseverance... a good read for anyone, not just for females...because you know, action and adventure, fast planes etc etc
