For the Annex 482, how many months payslip do they require and what if the 2800 euros fall short by a month? Meaning other months meet up with the 2800 threshold except one month.
Lastly, can one head to the nearest Belgian embassy to verify if the annex 482 will be accepted first before embarking on searching for admission and investing heavily in this venture?

Annex 32 requires your admission letter, your sponsor’s 6 months pay slip and employment contract. You cannot check it at the Belgian embassy beforehand, you have to fulfill these requirement submit it and pay for it to be evaluated.

Those are the three acceptable methods.
Please I have a question. Are you saying that my sponsor has to print out just one month pay slip showing the stated amount, or he will print the pay slip for 12 months? Secondly if my sponsor earns more that the amount you stated, let’s say €500 for instance, is it okay or the fact that it’s more will be a problem?

(1) how much is the home office fee that must be paid in addition to the visa application fee?
(2)if i have a sponsor who is a French citizen, must this person be related to me in order to act as my guarantor for the belgian visa?
If he’s in France he can try even not related. I’ve found that often times EU citizens are successful in the annex 32 application. The home office fee has changed I can’t tell the exact. Check the TLS website to be certain

Unfortunately, you either have a domiciliary account card (dollar card) or you have to find someone outside Nigeria to do that for you.

Yes. You do your legalization with the same procedure but last stage of super legalization is with the Belgian embassy via courier

Hi, I got an admission to study in Belgium and because I don't know the visa process, I called TLS contact and one of the questions I asked was if I would need a blocked account or just the regular POF, I was told they don't require blocked account that it's the regular POF. Now I'm confused, pls what do you advise
I am not aware of any new rules and I don’t think the school is either. Check the university website concerning proof of funds, it’s all there.

With third class you’ll have to be careful about where you’re applying to. The grades matter to some universities

I’m afraid not. In my opinion, you’ll still have to find a sponsor but what the earning will be now that you have a 5,000€ scholarship is what I can’t really say and if you still have to provide the exact same as without a scholarship. You can also opt to do a block account for 6 months. Send a mail to VUB if this is possible for international students outside Belgium

some departments do not require IELTS if you can show proof of proficiency. I don’t know of all departments but the requirements are always stated online and you can send an email to the program coordinator.
