      Hey, the airmaxxx stuff is decent for the money. If you're on a budget and it's all you can afford, there is nothing wrong with their stuff. It's just not as quality as the more expensive stuff. I run lots of airmaxxx stuff on budget builds

    I was just doing some air bag maintenance on my toyota pickup today, i got ss RE6 in the front(not a lot of room in the front of mini trucks for bags and the slams dont balloon) and airlift 2600 in the rear, its bag on axle so the ride isnt the best but i might add lift bars one day or just redo the setup, I mean i have ridden in both and yes bag on bar is noticeably better but its still better than leaf springs i think.

      @Tinman2Kustoms  Před 6 lety

      EvanThaG oh yeah there is a ton more to discuss with bag stuff. This was just a quickie lol if setup proper a bag over axle can be very nice. The last truck I built, bag on axle, rode better than any other vehicle I've ever built. Bag on bar included. Not sure if I'm getting better at it or was just lucky lol the slam non ballooning is a nice feature, but really the airlift ones don't bag very much. For the price I'd always choose the airlift bags. But the slam ones have their place too!! All the others on the market.... Well.... You won't see me running them lol

Airbagit bags are garbage, my dad got 4 of the denominators you talked about for like 114$, they leak a decent amount and dont lift much, he also ordered fitting and got 2 correct fitting and the other 2 where 2 different sizes, we called and when they do answer you dont get much help, some things like bag brackets and my uncle has been buying their hidden hitches for years, but stay away from the bags and fittings... I only buy from horn blasters, AVS, or thorbros now.

    Maybe this is weird, i'll let you decide, but I'm trying to find someone who has brackets that are taller than what is normally sold. I have a 64 Impala and all the bracket cups I see are about the same overall height, and I'm sure most people like to be able to slam their car on the ground. In my case, this is NOT what I want to do. When my bags are totally deflated and im riding on the bumpstop, I still want my car to be an inch off the ground at least. I know it looks cool to have your underbody and exhaust touching the ground, but beyond looking cool it serves me no purpose, and incase of an emergency in which my bags lose all pressure, I want to be able to still drive my car a short distance to safety.
    Does anyone know where I can get brackets like im talking about??

    I want to bag my 95 impala ss . What would you recommend? Is there a good kit?

    • @Tinman2Kustoms
      @Tinman2Kustoms  Před 4 lety +1

      I'm sure someone makes a kit! If you want to lay out all the way, you won't be able to get a kit for that though. Just bagged and about 6" lower I'm sure someone makes a kit.

      @@Tinman2Kustoms I see a kit by EZ air but there are few reviews on it. I don't really need it to lay all the way out just ride low and sit lower. Just something so I can raise it up and not drag everywhere like I do now with just lowering springs.

      @@heavilyarmed556 ya get what ya pay for. A basic kit is fine. Just might not have all the luxuries that an expensive kit would have.

      I already have an air ride on my 96 impala I want to switch out to a better bag in the front because it’s hard to describe but the air bags in front there now bent outwards if that makes any sense and it rubs on the sway bar links I think it has cheap airbags I had lifted at a shop in San Antonio what do you recommend on airbags just to swap them out

    Is there any drawback to the sleeve style bags? I'm planning a rod build and I want full fenders so that doesn't leave a lot of width room for the double convoluted bags as far as I can tell

    • @Tinman2Kustoms
      @Tinman2Kustoms  Před 4 lety

      sleeve bags don't lift nearly as far. But for some applications they work okay

    • @Tinman2Kustoms
      @Tinman2Kustoms  Před 5 lety +2

      The bigger the bag the better the ride because it takes less pressure to lift the same amount

    So i want to run air lift dominators on the front of my 65 chevy c10 which size do you recommend, they will be on the stock a arms the d2500 or d2600

    • @Tinman2Kustoms
      @Tinman2Kustoms  Před 5 lety

      You could do either. It's preference. The 2500 is easier to work with because it's smaller. But the 2600 is a stronger bag so it will take less air pressure to lift the front of the vehicle, which will give you a softer ride. Either will work. The 2500 would be my recommendation if you're not sure.
