The Zoharic Origin of Tikkun Leil Shavuot | Daniel Matt
We will explore the earliest description of Tikkun Leil Shavuot, which appears in the Zohar. In this passage, the word tikkun refers to "adorning" Shekhinah through the night with gems of Torah, preparing Her to unite with Her divine spouse on the morning of Shavuot.

To the extent that we accept the mitzvot and put them into practice, we could be considered extensions of the Divine Will... so Shechinah. Also, since the Oral Torah involves the application of the principles of Torah (and therefore require intense study), we could consider Matan Torah as the marriage of Oral and Written Torah.
