My son's first backcountry expedition! Mirror Lake and Crater Lake near Lake Granby, Colorado

Greyson, my 5 year old son, went on his first backpacking trip this summer. He hiked like a champ despite his brief bout with the altitude sickness. This was my brother's first trip too and it was fun to watch him and Greyson experience one of my favorite activities together.

The backcountry portion is not in RMNP. It is outside of Granby, Colorado.
