It's a lavish, fun, romantic romp but underneath it all, there's an intimate story of a girl becoming a woman. During the movie when this song played I was thinking "I KNOW THIS SONG FROM SOMEWHERE WHY DOES IT SOUND SO FAMILIAR?!?" And it was the strangest feeling wanting to sing along and feeling like I can but I couldn't.....if that makes sense😂 Made even weirder that I'm chinese and actually understood some of what the lyrics meant. For singaporean and us who really knew Singapore, this movie is a masterpiece, for it takes us back to see the daily places we go to walk, meeting people and spending time together. The song is never been better than this new arrangement.
I miss Singapore, it is my favourite place to visit, if you get a chance to go there stay at the Shangri la Sentosa, it is the best run hotel I have ever been to and only hotel that has a beach, but if you want to see a F1 race then stay at Marina Bay Sands, you can watch the race from the pool or if you get the right room from there.
