I was also that kid. When I got to be ten years old or so, I expanded my repertoire to include ad hoc experiments with electricity and chemistry. In my 20s, I started flying. My father once asked me, "How are you still alive?"
Wait, she was sending them to Captain Ken and she's been on this pilot's flights many times. NOW we know why that other flight attendant was being anti-social. She set her phone up for that flight to be Captain Ken because she knew something would eventually happen, and SHE was the one sitting there downloading all the photos. The question is, when is she going to blackmail Kim?
That was my thought too... definitely explains why she was so busy with her phone the whole flight!

Kelsey is the kind of a person who would come home after a long flight and tell us fun stories about what happened in the cockpit. It’s so fun to listen to. I hope one day I’ll also be the one telling my friends about my experience in the cockpit!!!
I don’t remember the exact circumstances or the events that lead to this, but when we’d deploy, the pilot the crew and the mechanics would fly with us when we’d deploy. I guess the copilot just received qualifications, or wings, or whatever, but the result was that the mechanics swapped his seat out on the flight deck with a toddler’s high-chair from the hotel restaurant. So after all the briefings the crew had their ceremony of presenting the copilot with his “special chair.” Good laughs all around, and memorable photos.

Between Scornful Kim and Auntie Social, he probably had even less drive to care.
I remember as a FA after the flight and there were just the crew out for dinner and this dude walks up, sits down and none of us knew who he was. Really long hair, jeans...we just didn't know him. After a question from one of us...he was the FO. He wore a short wig to work. Funny.
The only time I went up to the cockpit for more than a few minutes was when we had no passengers and they let me listen in on the radio as they were landing. Only when no passengers. My favorite thing to do!
Kelsey is SO good at converting into first person it is SO hard to not think he is the pilot in his stories!! Or is it all just a cover?
That's what Im thinking because he will mix his own name in these stories so smoothly. And he doesn't look like he's rehearsed them. It seems like it's coming from his memories.

Congratulations on hitting the 747k subscribers mark! I watch all the FAs in the pictures in your video! Love them all! As a 5 day a week pre-pandemic flyer (also known as a EP) I miss the hustle and bustle of airports and the great people I’ve met on my travels; so I started bingeing tons of FA videos! I get to go back on the road (or in the skies) on January 10, 2022! I can’t wait! Stay safe out there K!
What does EP stand for and why do you have fly each day of week?
Funny you mentioned jumping off of the garage roof with a makeshift parachute. It was an umbrella for me. (I grew up in the Mary Poppins era) The umbrella worked for about 2 seconds until it folded backwards. Then it came time to explain to mom how her favorite umbrella got destroyed and why I thought my ankle might be broken.
OMG I remember my overhead bin photo. When you’re a new hire that photo is your Right of Passage. LOL this story cracked me up. I can so relate, though I did not get stuck.

Yesterday i saw some video of yours, saying pilots normally decrease speed during turbulence for passenger comfort. Next time i hit turbulence i can pay attention to that and not be scared that the engine is failing or something.

As a techie, I was once asked by ambulance crew if I can remove locks without an angly grinder once (I'm was out on fieldwork with a van in the middle of nowhere). I told them I had several options and flowed then to a farm. Inside of the barn was a woman in her 50's on a bdsm attached with loads of padlocks and steel shackles and a guy still looking flabbergasted at a broken key🤣 . The locks where ali express quality so a big screwdriver opened all of them, but your attendant had it easy compared to there red faces🤣

The minute you mentioned taking a photo in the bin I started wondering about the logistics of getting up and getting down. Particularly in a skirt. But that's my crippled old lady brain that cannot do it. Good one! And snack stealing and rando nudish photos for the win!

@@johnopalko5223 Moved to Costa Rica, living here coming up on five years now. Started writing a book about the experience and doing CZcams videos about it. What to do, what not to do. We did a lot of things right, and only a few things wrong, one of them was huge and ended up with us losing 2/3s of our household goods. Everyone here has stories about the move. I am complying the advice.
Then the dang pandemic happened and so many things here have changed and change again every few weeks, throwing my book into flux again.
Then a beauty YTer named Tati Westbrook sued someone I trained as a writer at Patheos for defamation, and I had to give a deposition. It's spun into six trials for defamation and now my YT channel is a pit of crazy online drama connected to the defamation trials. Thank the heavens I am not being sued as they are multi million dollar law suits. I hope soon to go back to just talking exclusively about CR.

A few years ago on April fools Day one of the airlines in Canada posted a photo about selling the overhead compartment as sleeping space. They also had another one where kids went into the cargo bay under the plane.

For once. There’s one that Kelsey is involved in. Because I only know of a small group of CZcams channels on Commercial aviation. I know of a handful that show their face, and know of exactly one who flies the 747. Plus I can’t see Petter or Joe telling them to hop into a luggage bin, maybe Juan but it’s definitely a kelsey idea.
I _could_ imagine Joe telling a flight attendant to jump into the overhead bin... Unfortunately he flies cargo!

Wait a second I had a similar experience with a FA named Kim. I was a ramper and this FA told me that she was coming back in a few days. A few days later she came back but I didn't recognize her because she had different hair and makeup, keep in mind I see tons of flight attendants on a day to day basis and she was upset that I didn't recognize her😂
p.s I'm pretty sure these are two different flight attendants but the similarities are hilarious
So we are supposed to believe that a flight attendant was fascinated with a ramper who makes between 10 16 bucks an hour. The story sounds fake. different hair and make up? did she change her voice and mannerisms too? People change hair color/shape and make up all the time. Even in your made up story the only similarities are the name kim, being a flight attendant, and a woman. Not hilarious. Between your story and you name, it looks like you crave attention. Ramper J , Jizzy J Ramper, anything but you used aviator. I could be wrong but I would imagine most people think of pilots when they hear aviator. You know that. Makes me wonder why you used it.....

The thing I don't get about the air drop story is this: Isn't it illegal for the flight crew to use their phones while they are flying? Shouldn't Kim have known that? Might have saved her some embarrassment. 🤣

I could be wrong, I'm not a pilot, but I believe the "no personal devices" is only law during the "sterile" portions of flight (departure and approach). Whether or not they can use them during cruise is a matter of company policy.
@@jonjohnson3027 I thought Kelsey said the reason he doesn't have videos from the cockpit is due to FAA rules on passenger flights, and company policy on cargo flights. I could be misremembering, though. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I know the feeling. I'm just a barely ok looking guy and my friend is good looking and tall. At this Halloween party this girl introduces herself to us and I'm a person from a different city and my friend has visited me in that city before but he's not from there (I am). She proceeds asking HIM a million questions about that city. She was obviously into my friend and I was thinking "at least pick something different to ask him about..." I was standing right there. I have to be honest but that hurt my feelings a bit. But I just smiled and discreetly walked away
