Carrie would be heart broken
I always thought she had a star on the walk of fame!! This makes me so sad. She has been gone for 5, 6 yrs and just now finally getting one!! That makes me hella mad!! Carrie Fisher is a icon!!! And her mom too. RIP Debbie and Carrie🕊🕊🕊

I will never look at Billie Lourd the same way again after the way she's behaved regarding this ceremony. Her narcissistic bitterness and outright spitefulness toward her mother's siblings cast a pall over this celebration as she mandated she be the only immediate family allowed to attend (yes, she threatened to boycott if Todd attended). Her singular relationship with her mother does not negate the relationships or love between Carrie & her brother and sisters. In castigating and publicly punishing them for hurts real or imagined regarding publicly sharing their grief over their sister, Billie seems to forget her mother wrote a thinly veiled roman a clef about her OWN mother. I recall Debbie Reynolds certainly wasn't thrilled about it at the time, either. But she didn't excommunicate Carrie. Nor would she have thought much of Billie expressing her inflated sense of ownership over Carrie by banishing Todd, Joely and Tricia from even being present to honor her. So much for the high road, Billie. But gee you sure looked lovely on camera today.
Todd had every right to publish a book about his life with his mom & sister nearly 2 years after their deaths. Good grief, many relatives of stars have done so. Why in the world would he need permission from his niece?! She sounds like a very spoiled, entitled nepo baby whose mother & grandmother would not have approved of such selfish actions.

I didn’t even know Billie Lourd was related to Carrie Fisher! How interesting. As for not inviting Carrie’s siblings to the star event.. apparently this feud between Billie and her aunt & uncle is all because they both released books after Carrie’s death without consulting Billie or considering how it would affect Billie.. so now their relationships aren’t in good standing hence why they weren’t invited to the event. I kind of understand where Billie is coming from but tbh it all just seems kinda petty. They wrote books without consulting her so now they’re disavowed from her life and from any events about Carrie? Seems a bit dramatic and extreme
They didn’t need to consult her. Debbie and Carrie were Todd’s mother and sister long before they were Billies grandmother and mother

saw Debbie, Carrie, Todd and Billie onstage at Debbie's last shows. It's hard for me to wrap my heart around the fact that the 2 still living don't even speak to each other now.
This guy Todd came in to my restaurant about two weeks after Carrie died and no one there but me knew who he was. He was talking to what seemed to be an accountant or business manager of some sort and he was giddy as a schoolboy. All smiles. I said to myself “why is this guy so happy immediately after his mom and sister died?” Then I thought about the inheritance of both Carrie and Debbie. Never heard of or saw the guy again until right now. Hmmm.

Billie Lourde is a Ryan Murphy actress. The idea any of you were expecting her to behave otherwise is laughable. She belongs to the same brand of people who literally made “American horror story: Donald Trump”

Billie says the family isn't invited to the event because they presumably exploited Carrie and Debbie when they died. Well, Billie is a classic nepo brat and has had doors opened for her due to her relationship with her grandmother, mom and grandfather. If it weren't for the gigantic contributions made by Debbie Reynolds, Carrie Fisher and Eddie Fisher to the entertainment industry, Billie would have become a nobody waitress in a greasy diner. Todd has class and I know for a fact that Debbie Reynolds was close with her brother and niece. Billie's "star" will definitely burn out while the star power of her grandmother, grandfather and mom will live till the end of time.
Clearly you missed the point since Todd is the one who profited from his book about Carrie, while Billie got acting jobs and never denied it was with the help of her upbringing. Also, her dad is a major actor's agent so it's much more from his side.
Todd published a shitty book to make extra money off of dead relatives because they weren’t around to pay for his lifestyle, Billie has acted classy and has never publicly said anything against them until they decided to try and overshadow Carries day and attack their niece.
