No, Cool people do the real thing XD Skyrim and Fallout are actually extremely inaccurate with the lock picking. Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion is the closest in-game lock picking experience I've had.
No one ever teaches how you know which direction to apply tension...you could be picking for hours and trying to turn it the wrong way .. I mean of you actually needed to pick something you won't have the key to test this first... Out of all the lessons I've watched I have never seen anyone give a way to know this
