    July 2023 this amp is only $72 on Amazon right now. Not a bad deal. It's important to keep the cheaper amps cool if you want lasting performance. And a Recoil or Kicker LOC is a great way to go for $25 as they are the only two LOC's I know that function properly and do not distort your signal. Instead they will filter your signal and boost it to the amplifier allowing it to run cooler! Plus sound better. The best $25 you can spend on your system, and good really for any amplifier. You could also add a good and quiet 12V computer fan and connect it the amp chassis and to the remote power turn on wire for added cooling as well. Easy DIY project plus you can get quiet computer fans for $5 - $10. (or if you have a spare computer fan lying around).

    I got a deaf bonce amp that has those Phillips head screws. You can buy an assorted set of allen set screws for like $10 or $15. Thats what i did and they work great!

    It looks pretty cool.
    It doesn't look cheap.

      You have to take Amazon reviewer with a grain of salt as you never know if the reviewer knew what they were doing or had proper use. Who know they could have had it wired to a low ohm load or bad electrical or…..

    Dang nice vid! 🎉 this is perfect for the single 12” sub I want to add to a factory system! I’m thinking a 750 watt 12” 2 ohm or MAYBE 1,000 watt 12” 1 ohm! Seems like a legit deals for $80!! 🎉

    • @johannjohann6523
      @johannjohann6523 Před měsícem

      Nothing against Domanki, but Stinger make some of "the best" price for value subwoofer monoblocks on the market. For a few more dollars you'll get 50% more than rated power on Stinger amps, high S/N ratio, and very efficient (85%-90%) well designed amp with a "high" damping factor compared to other amps out there. The high damping factor is critical if you want a quality sub amplifier and seperates Stinger from the other brands.

    • @johannjohann6523
      @johannjohann6523 Před měsícem

      This Domanki amp ain't half bad for the price and is a surprise. When going with a cheaper style amp (or any amp really) use a Recoil or Kicker LOC (Line Output Converter or AudioControl too) as these are the only 3 brands I know that work as stated from all the brands I have seen tested. They will filter your signal, as well as boost it to the amp. This will allow the amp to sound better and not work as hard keeping cooler, which always results in better sound quality and durability of the amp. Best $25 you can spend on any car stereo.

    my kac-9106D does 1000 at 2 ohm. It's not 1 ohm rated. But I have been running this amp at 1 ohm over a year on 2 diamond audio D6 D4. I'm wondering what these Kenwood amps do at 1 ohm and why they aren't rated for 1 ohm when the amp is doing it just fine. no overheating, fan not coming on.

    • @HiFiVector
      @HiFiVector  Před měsícem +1

      With impedance rise you would probably be ok. But just set gains to where you aren’t over powering the sub if you need to.

    do you know if it has voltage sensing high level inputs that would allow me to not have to find a remote on wire?

    • @HiFiVector
      @HiFiVector  Před měsícem

      I didn’t see anything n the specs saying it had voltage sensing turn on on The high level inputs. So I would assume you need a remote turn on wire.

    Im an adolescent in the car audio world and new to all this amp dyno stuff so excuse my lack of knowledge and probably dumb questions but what do you use for settings testing on a dyno do you turn the gain and everything up or leave them turned down

    • @cjlgarage4569
      @cjlgarage4569 Před měsícem

      He matches his amp gain settings to whatever source unit he is using. Just like you would match your gain on your amp to whatever source unit you’re using like your head unit, line output, converters, DSP’s, etc..
      The gain is not a volume knob . It is to match the output level from the source to the circuitry of the amp, to create the cleanest and the most powerful signal for that output of that source.

    I have the 4 channel amp domanki for the price its good but the audio quality is not that great. I used to have alpine SA32F and you can tell the audio is crispier than this domanki product. Bought this because.of the.price but didnt realize the audio is not that great a have a primus components in the front and coaxial in the back. Ill give this unit a 4 out of 10. Ill give 10 for its compact size but the quality of the sound meh might as well ignore this amp.

    Precision Power Ion series 1000.4 has the fuses in the board, and they are Korean made, amazing little amplifier.
    But then again, just because it does rated power doesn't mean it's any better than a Boss audio that's 100% overrated.

    What's up with the dynamic efficiency?

    • @91CavGT5
      @91CavGT5 Před 2 měsíci

      The meters don’t get a good reading on dynamic bursts. That’s why most people that dyno amps never show amperage draw for dynamic tests.
