This is our in depth review of the GAN356 Air SM, current 3x3 average world record cube and GAN's newest flagship puzzle. A successor to the highly acclaimed Air UM, the SM comes with a few cool new features, including magnet slots, a reworked GES system, and a unique honeycomb surface design. The SM is famous for its soft feel and light, effortless turning.

This might be a stupid question, but how would you put silk on the core? Like where the nut is?
I think you remove the screws and springs and apply the lube around or under the screw head or something.

Someone at my school had one of these, and I have a UM. It has more effortless turning and the magnets are lighter, and if I could get it, I would love it. One of the magnets dislodged on my UM.

how much heavier is it? I noticed it's using screws to hold the pieces together again, unlike the air UM. and in the picture at 1:32 looks like the the corners have more plastic in them to be sturdier

what happens if sand (literal sand) accidentally went into the cube, then i turned it with sand, then i completely remove the sand? how is the cube's (Gans 356 air sm) performance?
I just bought this cube, it doesn't feel good at all, it's not smooth at all, it's like crunchy. I don't know what to do, I don't know if I put too little lube in it, if it's too loose, too tight. Can someone please help?
