Socials of some players can not be found (players with default nicknames, some Asian players, etc). Playing ky is my cup of tea, but I see some one hate to be a ky's opponent or play ky. That's true or just my imagine?
Ky’s just solid all around. Not great but definitely solid. Good pokes, relatively safe, good neutral, and he’s got the most straight forward gameplan and oki, so some people find him boring, and since Ky players are usually patient on top of that, it only adds to that feeling. Also, when dealing with Ky, I guess the feeling of annoyance comes from knowing exactly what he does and still succumbing to it. I main Ky and whenever I play another Ky player, getting hit by stuff you know is coming, or is fake or you know how to deal with can irk you a bit. But that’s really just my insight on it.
@@JohnGlow2 i also mained Ky for 500 hrs (currently i am shifting to Bridget since the King is starting to become a little too bland) and can confirm every single word you said: everyone knows what a Ky main wanna do and yet he's pretty hard to stop when in the hands of a good player, to the point that my worst MU with him is the mirror at Celestial: i'd rather face 10 Ramlethal more than a single Ky, with Ky himself.
Also, RRC Stun Dipper is annoying to deal with, and also the only really strong move this character has, and being continuously hit by that IS indeed tedious.
everyone hates every single character which is not theirs.

I like playing against nago more than playing against ky. Even if the matchup sucks, or nago deals infinite damage, I just don't enjoy getting tick throwed in the corner 62 million times cause I lost neutral once for getting hit by a 7f low profile. There is literally no counterplay or obvious ways to get around anything he does, and most of the ways to punish his stuff are hard reads. I don't really care about anyone else in the cast besides like goldlewis and leo, both of which do dumbass stuff, but ky players really piss me the fuck off just because they're playing what is probably one of the most braindead characters (besides leo fuck leo he gets free strike throw on par with ky's with the dumbest high lows and crossup mix like every leo main will say "oh just throw the crossup he's so easy to block") and still get mad at people playing easy characters that just do more things than he does.
