Like her, in my passion for God, I have written and sung songs about Him and to Him. This is what God has done in my heart at various times in my life in order to help me focus on Him and praise Him. The Bible says for us to do this: To give praises to our God and to glorify Him. From what I've seen and heard on the Internet, some people are criticizing Lauren, and some are upholding her as a Christian and follower of Jesus Christ. In either case, I will say that being a Christian is difficult in this world. But... God enables me to live for Him, and I praise Him for this! Often, I sin and fall short of the glory of God, but this is exactly why Jesus came to earth and 'chose' to die for us all. He died for sinners, and I am a chief sinner. His blood is what makes and has made me clean before the Father's throne. Like Romans 5:8 proclaims, "But while I was yet a sinner, Christ died for me." Therefore, I praise God for this infinite mercy and grace, of which He has poured out freely. Lauren Daigle's music is touching and has touched multitudes of lives for Christ's sake, so I say, "Pray for her, no matter what you might think of her personally - good or bad. God has blessed her with an incredible voice and the platform to reach our lost and dying world. If Jesus Christ didn't come to condemn, then why should we Christians condemn?
