In this video we’re going to discuss why some schools are starting to ban these specific LGBTQ books. I bough them all and decided to go through each one to see if they’re as bad as people say they are, or if people are just be dramatic about it.

Of course, it's possible to make a pornographic book, that has no place in a school library. However, there are also many pearl-clutchers on the right, who want to "protect" people's feelings, jealousy, etc. - and those are the same people, who humiliated everyone else in school, by getting to feel human and good enough for sex, while others could not and got targeted and bullied by these people, who only now, claim their innocent wholesomeness, and probably also encourage their daughters to humiliate boys and make them feel ugly and worthless, to drive them insane, to pressure them to commit rape and school shootings... For sadistically gleeful FUN-supremacy (for girls, until they get raped or shot, at least)! In my view, they need to clean up their own front yards, before opening their mouths. And they can't because it's all in the past, now they're adults and not sexy enough to remove the humiliation anymore, they can't stop the pain they caused. So they need to shut up, and butt out entirely, and live with the shame of causing irreparable damage to other people's minds, dignity and lifetime happiness.

It's amazing and sickening. The line that bothers me the most is that the children need to see this stuff if they are gay. First off, a parent doesn't know for sure that a child will ultimately be gay as an adult. Second, just because a child is gay doesn't mean that they aren't an innocent child, and aren't worthy of the same protection as any other child. It's really sad and has made me realize just how at risk for abuse these children are. People don't view them as ordinary, innocent children.

She still bought it for me because I kept telling her I wanted it lol. My mom and I also used to watch Modern Family together, and Mitch and Cam were the first “gay” couple I had ever seen. I've been saying the same thing since this whole thing started. It's why I don't understand how you can "feel" your gender. Your clothing choices, hobbies, choices of tv shows, books, etc, are preferences. They don't define your gender. Sure, you can be a girl and like traditional "girly" things but that doesn't make anymore of a girl, then females who prefer more traditional masculine things/actvities. People who are "non-binary" say that they identify as that gender because they like to wear boys/girls clothes and have interests that are traditionally linked to both genders. SO DOES THE MAJORITY OF THE POPULATION! We all have both masculine and feminine energy,(hormones anyone?) It doesn'tfefine your gender.

There are some parts where she knows to turn away from looking at the more aggressive kissing which isn’t happening constantly, it’s more about the feelings of belonging, friendships and first love. I agree that all of the other books are basically versions of the Kama Sutra. It’s insane. The fact that parents aren’t given the material beforehand and consulted is a clear indicator that there are people out there using this material to groom our children. As a fellow lesbian in high school, I didn’t realize how bad it has gotten, because my school doesn’t do that (despite living in a liberal-ish area). We have a shared library, and if a book has mature content the librarians won’t let the middle schoolers check it out (I think). We do have a banned book celebration, but it’s about books that were banned for strange reasons, never because of sexual content (but I don’t know much) They let us know. It’s crazy that people don’t ever consider this.

Learning about how sex works is so important to prevent pregnancy and STD issues from happening. What age are these books targeting? 14+ children should 100% learn about sex and how it works. You expect them to turn 18 and magically know how to function as a human after years of repression and censorship from basic human functions?

Personally, I understand why this book shouldn't be read to elementary school children, yet I still understand where it was coming from. If that makes sense.
To clarify, I FEEL that the focus was a bit off with the focusing on being nonbinary. Yet, the book was RIGHT with the message that you can like things that aren't "traditionally" specific to your sex or gender. For example a male can like clothes that are considered socially female while still being a male and identifying as such.
I also FEEL that the teacher had the right intention, just the wrong direction. She shouldn't have gotten fired but instead put through some type of training.
I'm open to RESPECTFULLY discussing this with anyone ❤️

      >tomboys (erasure)

Nonbinary is one of those things that just genuinely irks me. Especially when people start to point to animals that would be classified as nonbinary.
But those animals are biologically in a non-binary state. They are born in a way that we cannot specifically label them as male or female. And a lot of them are just forms of hermaphrodites that change according to what they need at the time.
A boy putting on a dress does not equate to how clownfish are largely "nonbinary". It is just a boy in a dress trying to claim that they are neither a boy or a girl.

    • @patacato

Besides, non-binary is a gender. They assign gender labels to animals through a human society lense. Animals don't have genders. They only have bio sex and their instincts dictate how that sex should behave. Humans created the concept of gender and assigned it to people's sexes, we don't have instincts. And despite that societal pressure all of us are non-binary (by those clowns' own definition), no one on this planet is 100% feminine or masculine. Main character syndrome idiots think they're the only ones who's special and need a special gender trophy meanwhile everyone else is a NPC with gender programming.

You think human beings should be reduced down to a set of genitals or invisible chromosomes? I get what you are trying to say but it’s just false. Sex education should always have been something handled by parents. Unfortunately, too many parents get to embarrassed about having that conversation with their own children. Sex education needs to be sent back to the parents. That way, if the parent wants to talk to their child about all the different sexualities, they can. If a parent only wants to cover straight or gay, done.

@@mollygrace3068 Actually it IS the same process and actually a huge reason why Erotica is mostly populated and consumed by women at the same rates as video pornography is accessed by men. While the consumption is different based on gender due to males being more visually oriented because they are object oriented scientifically, the sexual arousal is the same.
So yes, reading erotica in a book is just as bad as letting a 16 year old boy rent porn from the library. It activates the same arousal response and can lead into a severe disassociation between reality and fantasy when it comes to sex if this is a teens first introduction to sex. In fact, for erotica the threat is more severe. At least in porn there are actual human beings on that screen doing the acts. At worst the actors overplay the pleasure of the acts and display positions or acts only to be done by professionals (BDSM, Kinks, flexible positions, etc). But erotica is entirely in the imagination of the reader. Like reading about Christian Gray chaining up Anastasia and hitting her with a crop can mean fake foam chains and a little tap or literal bondage and hitting to dig shit out of her. The level of extremes depends on the reader and only gets more and more extreme the more you read it. Next thing you know you have girls talking about having a choking kink or into blood play at the age of sweet 16. This is obviously not normal or healthy and is just as worrying as a 16 year old boy saying he has to jack off once a day because he developed a porn addiction and can't look at a girl's midriff without popping a boner.
Erotica should be for adult women, not accessible to young girls.

Everything was fine until the self-identified TQ+ started using us to claim that allowing men in women's spaces & indoctrinating children & college students was a "human right" or "civil right". The TQ+ is a way to opt-in to an "oppressed" category! How convenient in a world where victimhood & claims of oppression are rewarded!
I'm older & I know how LGB people got our rights. We EARNED them. We didn't just demand things & bully people to affirm our every whim lest they lose their jobs or have the mob cancel them or be assaulted! We won hearts & minds by our character & by coming out when there was actual risk involved, not when everyone celebrated it! We won people's respect. My goal was to be integrated into the larger society where no one cared anymore about one's sexual orientation (or race), where everyone had the same rights. And WE GOT THERE! But the DEMANDS being made now by the TQ+ are not RIGHTS! They are seeking to deprive OTHER people of their rights (the safety & privacy of women & girls, freedom of speech, freedom of association, political & ideological diversity, etc)! That's a HUGE difference. I feel like these people used me as their Trojan Horse, so I cringe when I see "LGBTQ". Actual transexuals can have their own movement to build their own public spaces, services, sports leagues, etc., just as women did over the past CENTURY! Don't just steal all that hard won progress FROM women! The TQ+ are just hetero people who want to feel special & opt in to an "oppressed" group of people (who are not even actually oppressed!). The only time I will ever use those letters anymore is either by themselves or as part of "LGBTQ+WTF".

Please for the love of fucking god do not give the kids graphic sexual content books to read. Not only is it inappropraite, Im a good 90% Im not the only child who remembered they were assulted thanks to reading class with these kinds of books.(GRANTED, my case is a very specific one as a victim of csa, but the dark reality is that im not the only one. Yes, he does indeed fail not to deliver his points.
He's prejudicial towards a community made up of people who share his sexual orientation, and he tends not to be completely honest in his assessment; either because he needs to feel like he is accepted into mainstream society, or because he think's he's invented a new clever way of grabbing attention; even negative attention.
In all of his videos, he has yet to address heterosexual people long doing the exact same things that he's criticizing his fellow modern gays for doing.
Example 1: A little girl dancing "suggestively" during a public showcase and parents tipping her "as if she was some stripper in a bar" is, according to Amir, just one example of the failing, now-obscene LGBT community. (My commentary: Had it not occurred to him that the girl doesn't actually do anything beyond *_pg-13_* (!) dancing, and that "tipping" her could just be a part of the family fun? Does he mean to say that kids haven't ever emulated their favorite non-PG-friendly celebrities they see on TV, which has never been g-rated, and showcase it in school night talent shows?)
Example 2: A "fabulous" glimmering trans-woman cartoon in BluesClues is just one instance of how trans community is "pushing their agenda" on little innocent kids. (My commentary: We see here a cartoon of a woman in Hollywood-style glamour clothes, singing about PG-rated LGBT subjects. That's about it. *_No sexual discussion whatsoever_* . I suppose Amir isn't so sure why this would even be much of an issue, so he had to un-integrously attempt to resonate it with R-rated excerpts of leather-puppy-dog spanking and women who weren't wearing much of anything amid a crowd containing a few kids.)

Well when is it when “they should be thinking about sex” what magical arbitrary number are we going to pick? Kids start ouberty around 11-12 ish, and it’s only becoming younger as modern science shows. I agree a lot of these books are innapropriate for young children, but when is it supposed to be determined it’s suddenly okay for them to see these things? Kids already know about this stuff. They see it in movies. In music. You see it on National Geographic. Bubble wrapping children isn’t the solution either. Knowing how sex works should be 100% mandatory at puberty age. For learning how to prevent pregnancy, STDs, and even anal sex because some kids are gay and knowing how to do things safely should be common knowledge. (Not even only gays do it) kids can’t go there whole childhood being bubble wrapped then expected to be well adjusted adults at 18.

@@Twink6629-lg3te Of course and I won't say some of these books aren't educational. I haven't read any so I wouldn't really be able to mark when they should be available to teens but it should be teens and not kids. Also, sex only became more prominent in younger generations when gender identities and associating sexuality for individual identities started to become more popular in common and social media. Lot of factors at play here honestly, but I do agree with the fact that if it is more common in younger generations then it needs to be either educated about how to be safe or just double down on snipping it in the bud.

    When it comes to books I've noticed a couple of things;
    1) People associate banning books, any books, with fascism.
    2) They assume that if something is in a book it must be true.
A few months ago I was talking to a friends girlfriend about oppression, race and all that. She had recently graduated in sociology. She was talking about how there is a hierarchy of oppression. According to some books and courses she had oppression was not only based on race but also on gender, disability, culture and other factors. Her point was basically that society should acknowledge and do more for people based on their place in this hierarchy.
In her mind, because it was in a book, written by some professor it was as much a fact as a physics book. To me, the social sciences are not hard sciences. It's not the STEM fields and much of it is opinions, subjective interpretation of data, and ideology. I think it's strange that someone wrote a book ranking various groups of people on oppression and it is thought in college and on top of that it's considered a fact.

It went over how your breast grow in and sometimes your friends will make fun of you for having breasts, but there's nothing wrong with you. It taught how girls are just growing and you will grow hair in certain places that doesn't mean you're not normal. It even showed in the book how most girls feel insecure about puberty. It was a great book it didn't have any explicit stuff like these books have.
